This stunning one bedroom vacation rental is just a short 10 minute walk from the beach in Playa del Carmen, Mayan Riviera, Mexico! Our guest apartment includes: Full Size Bed - Full size Convertible Sleep Sofa - Bathroom w Shower - Full kitchen - Refrigerator - Microwave - Toaster Oven - Coffee Maker - Two Burner Stove - Silverware - Dishes - Satellite TV - Free WiFi - Hair Dryer - Iron. We are about a 5 minute walk to the Famous 5th Avenue, locally known as La Quinta. There you will find hundreds of restaurants. They serve everything from tacos or ceviche to French cuisine. The atmospheres range from sand-in-your-toes to high-end, fine dining, and you can spend as little or as much as you want. If you sit at one of the outdoor restaurants, you may be treated to live music by the strolling Mariachis. There are many excursions such as: Sky Dive Zip Line Parasail Fish Snorkel Scuba Dive Swim, Snorkel or Dive the Cenotes Ride a Horse on the Beach Tour the Jungle on an ATV Tour the Mayan Ruins of Tulum, Coba or Chicken Itza? . About the Owner

I am a US citizen but I spend most of my time here in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. My first trip here was in 1984, but I did not return again until 2004. In 2005 I decided to buy my first property here. Although I still maintain a lake house in Massachusetts, an apartment in Manhattan and an apartment in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this is my home. In addition to the local Mexicans and Mayans, you will meet people from all over the world here. We have had guests from countries like Germany, Holland, South Africa, Israel and others, as well as Mexico, the US and Canada. Everybody who comes here falls in love with the place, and I am sure you will too. I fell in love with this place because of the spectacular ocean right in my back yard. The powder soft sand between my toes and the multi-colored ocean waters is enough to make you not want to go home!.

Best option for the price!

I did not actually stay here myself, but I looked at the apartment with intent. The owner and manager are great! I would have stayed here without hesitation if the place I was already at did not offer me a better price. The location is perfect in my opinion (23yo male interested in culture). It's in the very safe local area where good food is cheap and you can learn Spanish fast. It has everything you need to hang out at home and cook your own food too. When you need a day at the beach or want to check out 5th Ave it's a 10 minute or so walk. 10 minutes of mostly local culture, not people trying to sell you things. The bed felt very comfortable. Balcony and 2 new ac units are a big plus too.

Mexico Without Makeup!

We stayed 2/14 to 3/22/16. Wish we were still there. Had a great time walking around the city, finding different places to eat. Buying and cooking all the fresh produce at the fruit market down the street. Sitting on the balcony watching the daily life in the neighborhood. Sergio, the manager, was fantastic!!! He worked very hard to make our stay hassle free. I wish we could have brought him home with us!

Safe, cozy and close to the beach

I found this adorable one bedroom and absolutey loved it! It had all the essentials necessary to prepare meals and everything else to have that home away from feeling. I loved sitting on the balcony to dine and watch the busy Mexico town go to work. The walk to the beautiful beach was just a few minutes down the road. Also, we walked to 5th Avenue every night and always felt very safe. If we got lazy we would always find a taxi outside the apartment and for a few bucks drive us to downtown. I can't say enough about this apartment and can't wait to return. The owners were very easy to deal with and always available to reach.

Cozy 1 bedroom apartment. Clean and safe!

Clean, safe and cozy apartment. Kitchen had everything we needed. We used the washer/dryer which was convenient. Parking is available if you rent a car. Taxi fare is very reasonable but everything is within walking distance. Both a/c's worked perfectly. Penny is a great communicator and the price was reasonable. Sergio was excellent in providing assistance when needed. Our family of four will return and plan on staying here again.

My friend and I stayed here for a week and loved it. The kitchen had everything we needed. There were lots of restaurants, clubs and cafes within a short walk. There are even a couple small restaurants on the first floor of the building.The beach is at the end of the street which was about a 10 minute walk. They have offstreet parking but we didn't use it because you don't need a car here. They also have a washer and dryer which is free and it is shared by the 4 apartments. There is not an elevator, but the apartment is only one flight up from the street so it was not a problem for us.
