Description

We are a brand new beachfront boutique villa in an ideal location - just North of San Pedro Town.
 
We have two Coco Suites that feature a King-bed and fully equipped kitchens including beautiful hand crafted Mahogany cabinetry and built-ins, concrete counter-tops, hand-cut tiling throughout, full-sized fridge & gas range, stainless double sink, queen pullout sofa, private bathroom with vessel sink and walk-in shower, 720 feet of living space and spectacular view of the crystal clear Caribbean Sea. Walk out the front door to the fresh-water pool and beautiful beach.
 
The three Coral Suites offer a Queen-bed, custom Mahogany cabinetry and built-ins, concrete counter-tops, hand-cut tiling throughout, mid-sized fridge, stainless single-sink, queen pullout sofa, private bathroom with vessel sink and walk-in shower, 440 feet of living space. Walk out the door to the fresh-water pool, beautiful beach and Caribbean Sea!
 
The Coco Suites can be adjoined to a Coral Suites if desired and available to accommodate larger groups - up to 8 people.
 
 
The Garden Suite has a queen bed, custom Mahogany cabinetry and built-ins, concrete counter tops, hand-cut tiling throughout, mid-sized fridge and gas stove, twin pullout sofa, stainless double sink, private bathroom with vessel sink and walk-in shower, 340 feet of living space and a garden view.
 
All suites have AC and ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room, WiFi, 42" LED TV, blender, coffee maker, microwave, dining table/chairs, hair dryers and in-room safe.
 
The property features a beautiful 35' X 10' fresh water pool with extra 6'X6' jet spa and spacious, private sun deck. There is also a rooftop lounge with sunrise and sunset views (breath-taking!).
 
All rooms are non-smoking, no pets.

About the Owner

Laura and Mike moved to San Pedro in 2014 from Casper, Wyoming to build and operate our beach front dream - a boutique hotel and home. After a short career in the stock brokerage business, we started our family and a new career with Ford Motor Company. We moved with Ford Motor Co from Columbus, Ohio to Detroit, Mi and then to Minneapolis, Mn. We decided to leave the corporate world of Ford to join a private auto dealership in Casper, Wyoming to raise our family. After 20 years of helping to build a great 3- dealership group, we decided to pursue our dream of living by the sea. We sold our businesses and our home, and went in search of a new home by the beach. We fell in love with La Isla Bonita (Ambergris Caye) and the tiny town of San Pedro where we staked our claim and began a new adventure! Mike is a graduate of The Ohio State University and enjoys scuba diving, fishing and water sports of all kinds. Laura graduated from Miami University of Ohio and enjoys the sun, cooking, swimming and reading. Mike Carey Built this villa in 2015

Mike and his wife were gracious hosts... The property consisted of six units four of which looked out over the ocean...we had one that did not but knew that before we booked it... it was a very nice little “apartment” complete with kitchen...very clean. The rooftop is an observation deck with great views where we spent much time...The Dive Bar right next door has really good food but will take a really long time to get your food so be patient... you will need to rent a golf cart to get around the island as it would be a long walk to town... I would definitely go back

This place was perfect for our anniversary trip! The property is clean and in a great location, just outside of busy downtown, but close enough to run in to eat, shop, and explore. The rooms are spacious and are cleaned daily. We loved the rooftop and its wonderful views. You could stay here as a landing pad and explore everyday or you could stay on the property your whole trip and have everything you need. There are restaurants within walking distance and a dive shop right next door. To top it off the owners are on sight and are incredibly friendly with lots of knowledge to share about the island. You won't regret booking here!

Everything was as expected from the photographs. Very new and clean. I loved the location...close enough to walk to many things but away from the chaos of downtown. Rooftop area gave 360° view and a great place to watch the sunrise or sunset. Pool had both shade and sunshine and comfortable beach chairs. I will definitely return. It was a wonderful relaxing vacation and I wouldn't change a thing.

Twisted Palm Villas is a great little spot in Belize. It's adjacent to the water, and it's north of the hustle and bustle of San Pedro, but not so far north as to make trips into town inconvenient. It's also very close to other places to hang out and eat and drink (Dive Bar, Truck Stop). Dive Bar is connected with Sea Star Diving, with whom I took a snorkeling trip to Mexico Rocks and was very happy with. The rooftop lounge at Twisted Palm Villas is fantastic. I probably could have spent my entire stay sitting up there and not regretted it. Great view of the water, the sunrise (if you're up early enough...i suggest getting up for at least one), and on a clear night, great for star gazing. The owners, Mike and Linda, are super friendly and super accommodating. They will be happy to point you in the right direction if you're looking for any suggestions related to your stay in Belize.

We had an amazing stay at Twisted Palm Villas! Mike and Laura made things as easy and comfortable as could possibly be, from the time we started looking at the property as a possibility for accommodations, to the time we got back home. Mike made arrangements for taxi transfer from the airport to the water taxi terminal. Made arrangements for our golf cart for the week. The list goes on. The property is very clean and well kept. Very easy access to downtown San Pedro as well as the rest of the island. The beach and barrier reef are right outside the door. Close to several great restaurants. Dive shop is two doors down. We just had a fantastic time, and you better Belize we will be staying here again!
