Nestled between the Pacific ocean and the Sierra La Laguna mountains, Las Palmas Tropicales is a quiet getaway for the whole family. Choose one of our 6 suites or our 3 bedroom home with breathtaking ocean views. The main house has a custom vallarta style palapa roof and roughly 4000 sq. of living space. It also hosts spectacular ocean views from all three bedrooms. There is a spiral staircase leading to a 3rd bedroom with a wonderful view of the surf break as well as the Sierra La Laguna Mountains The kitchen has custom cabinets and authentic Mexican tile. Everything you need is available for your culinary needs, stainless steel appliances, cuisinart coffee maker, hot/cold water cooler, refrigerated wine cooler, all utencils and a variety of spices. If a chef is needed, we can supply that also. The entire property is very private and is surrounded by a rock privacy wall. We have just added a large 20'x 30' palapa to the house for outside dining or just hanging with your friends and family. Relax on the viewing deck and read a book, maybe a yoga class within walking distance or just unwind after a long day at the beach that stretches for over two miles. Enjoy the best sunsets right here in your front yard. And, if you visit us from November through March, you can lay in bed and watch the whales play close to shore with their young. So whether your planning a romantic getaway or a family reunion, we have the ability to accomodate a large group but still have your own private space. Had a fantastic time! Warm sun, friendly people and fantastic surf. The home is perfect. Each morning, check the surf from the bedroom window, then after a fantastic session, breakfast on patio watching others surf. It does not get any better than that. Pescadero is a great spot, very quite, but a quick trip to Todos Santos to check out shops and restaurants. Thank you Wendy and Bobby for an amazing trip! We will be back.
The reason for our stay at Bobby & Wendy's "compound" was a wedding celebration & ceremony. Our daughter chose this location to get married on the beach, at sunset. We traveled many miles to converge on this spot. There were about 40 of us, so we took over the whole compound, including the casitas. We had such a good time, and Wendy & Bobby were such troopers. They catered to our every whim and desire. Everything was clean & fresh... they saw to it that we were comfortable! We had a great time exploring the local towns and eating at some really good restaurants ... Migels (sp) was especially good. Whether you are just looking for a good, affordable vacation spot, or a destination for an occasion, this is a definite place to consider!!
Just returned a couple weeks ago from our wonderful vacation in Baja. This home is everything it claims to be and more. The owner's, Wendy and Bobby made us feel right at home as soon as we met them. The kitchen and family room are ideal for family and friends looking for a comfortable place to cook up great meals and gather together. The master bedroom is truly the best room I have ever stayed in. It is very large, beautifully decorated and the oceanfront views are stunning. It is also a great place to watch the sunset. It would be very tempting to stay here all day...just looking out at the ocean and reading a good book. You will fall asleep to the sound of the surf--it's magical. When you do not feel like cooking at home, I would recommend a short drive to Marlins in El Pescadero--excellent food and charming people. I definitely recommend this home. We had a perfect vacation here. You will not be disappointed.
Having visited this area 4 times in the last 4 years I am happy to report this great find. This place is right on the beach, family friendly, in a safe and private compound and run by the most generous and honest folks in the entire area. Your hosts have raised their family in this area and are very knowledgable. The accomadations are very clean and private. Right on the beach. Thank you for your hospitality. My family and I recently stayed at the big house at Las Palmas Tropicales. Our family had the best vacation together. We were pleased that in just minutes away there were great restaurants and beaches to get the local flavor. We had fun making homemade meals, sunsets on the beach, bonfires and just all those wonderful things you can afford to do when life is at a slower beat and paradise is all around you. The accommodations were perfect, the scenery was perfect, the weather was perfect, the - well - it was PERFECTION!
