This third floor unit has a small refrigerator, freezer, microwave and a covered veranda with a spectacular view of the sunrise and ocean! We have four star resort quality towels, linens and mattress that guests rave about! It is only a ten minute walk to downtown! Relax in the pool or have some cocktails at our palapa bar (BYOB). Most resorts need a golf cart to get around; optional at the Palapa House! Ocean view, beach front & walk downtown can you say "location, location, location"?
The space
Modern design with vaulted ceilings with beams, small refrigerator with separate freezer door to fit a 5# bag of ice, coffee maker, modern bathroom with stand up shower, local Belize art work mixed with beach decor with the most beautiful view of the ocean from the third floor! Four star resort linens, towels and most important the mattress. Everyone raves about how comfortable the bed is!

Shane will meet you and can answer any questions that you may have. He has suggestions on our favorite restaurants, tours and activities that he can book for you as well. Once you book with the Palapa House we will provide you a long list of great restaurants, bars, things to do and much more. Our guests have commented many times to make sure to try our favorite places!
Other things to note
Do not miss the sunrise! To watch the sunset we recommend taking a sunset cruise with our friends Junior and James. They are an entertaining duo with great rum drinks and of course Belikin beer. They will pick you up at the dock or you can drive to “Crocs” and have a cocktail watching the sunset.

My husband and I stayed here on our anniversary trip and we really enjoyed our stay. The views are beautiful and the location is perfect. You can walk to everything but you aren’t in the congestion, it’s literally the perfect location. Shane was communicative and answered all of our questions quickly. The place was so comfortable and the AC was excellent. The recommendations provided were spot on. Thanks for the memories!
The Palapa House was perfect for our stay! The location was great - walking distance to the ferry, good restaurants, and everything we wanted. The view from the porch of the sun rising and the water is just fantastic. It is so pretty to sit outside your room and look at the view, you can't beat it. We loved the pool and made use of it every day we were there. Shane the property manager instantly replied to every message sent, and the tips on restaurants that were left were helpful. The air conditioning was wonderful, the bed was super comfortable, and the tv with so many channels was a treat. We were even upgraded to a suite by Shane. It was such a good experience and we would recommend the Palapa House to anyone!!!
If you are looking for a clean and comfortable spot in the heart of town, but away from the noise, this is your spot! Very clean and comfortable bed. AC worked great, as did the wifi. Direct TV is a nice touch. Pool is small, but is perfect for a quick dip after a day of diving. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
Our 4 nights at the Palapa House were just wonderful. Great location, clean room, great pool amenities and hosts were very responsive and gave us great tips and suggestions for dining and excursions. Thank you!
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Palapa House in early January and absolutely loved it. Both the owners and manager were very kind, communicative and helpful. They had lots of good recommendations for places to visit and eat in the area. The location is fantastic. We were able to walk to everything and wake up to spectacular ocean views every morning. The room itself is fairly small and simple, but very nice, clean and comfortable. For us, this was a perfect alternative to more expensive and extravagant resorts, because it allowed us to spend more money on excursions and activities. We highly recommend!!
