Description

Villa La Vida Loca is a private, residential vacation rental home located in Playa del Carmen, Playacar Phase 2 only a few minutes walk from beach and town. Located on Retorno Akab Uno at the end of a cul-de-sac the house is peaceful and quiet, with lots of room for entertainment.

This 5 bedroom, 6.5 bathroom villa sleeps up to 18 people - perfect for adult gatherings of friends or family. Children under the age of 10 will be considered on an individual basis.

Layout downstairs:

  • Master bedroom with king bed and en suite bathroom
  • The office has a curved sofa that extends to make a circular bed. A full bathroom is just off the foyer

Layout upstairs:

  • Three Master bedrooms with king sized beds and full bathrooms each
  • Bedroom with two queen beds and full bathroom
  • Library with 2 double futons

Maid service every other day is included with your rental. No maid service on Sundays and public holidays. Additional maid service is available upon request for an additional fee.

As well included with your rental are drinking water, sheets & towels, beach towels and basic supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, tissues & soap.

We will meet you shortly after your arrival to make you feel right at home and answer any questions you may have. As your local property manager we offer 24/7 emergency assistance and a full range of personalized local services.

Policy

  1. Vacation rental rates are in US Dollars (USD) and do not include 14% tax. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates can vary.
  2. Unless otherwise noted a security deposit will be included in the rental contract and has to be paid in advance as the rental amount. Depending on the home it is between US 150 - US 1000. Tenants agree to pay for any damage caused. If there is no damage the security deposit will be returned within two to four weeks of departure.
  3. We accept payments by eCheck & Credit Cards through depositGuard.com and wire transfers.
  4. A 50% deposit along with the signed contract is required within seven days of booking to hold the dates for your vacation home. Your balance is due 45 days prior to arrival, 60 days for holidays.
  5. Cancellations 60 days prior to arrival are refundable at the owners discretion based on ability to re-rent. A US 250 handling fee applies for all cancellations. No refund on holiday rentals.
  6. If travel is restricted by the US Government or Airlines forcing a cancellation, your vacation rental can be rescheduled within a year. No refunds. Adjustments for seasonal changes may apply. A low season rental will be honored without additional charge. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
  7. Maximum occupancy includes all children no matter what age. No additional guests. No exceptions. Contract will be null and void and you will be asked to leave.
  8. No pets allowed.
  9. No smoking inside the property.
  10. Three night minimum stay.
  11. Check-in 3:00 PM, check-out 10:00 AM. Early check in and/or late check out can be arranged at half a days rate if possible.
  12. All vacation rentals are subject to Mexican laws and regulations.
  13. Unless stated otherwise in the property description our vacation homes include maid service three times a week. No maid service on Sundays and Mexican holidays. Maid service can be increased for an additional charge of $35 per day.
  14. We will email you directions and entry procedures around two weeks prior to your arrival. Directions are from Cancun Airport to your vacation home. Entry procedures include the lock box code for the house and service phone numbers. Please remember to bring these instructions with you.
  15. Water and electricity are the two most valuable commodities. Please conserve both. Shut off air conditioners when not using the bedrooms, and when leaving the premises. Air conditioners found running with the windows open will result in forfeiture of security deposit.
  16. Use common sense and to ensure a safe trip, lock all doors and windows when leaving your vacation home.
