Spacious 2-Story Loft, Steps from Beautiful, Tranquil Playa Los Destiladeros

Loft 9 is idyllic with 4 balconies and everything you need for a great vacation. The washer/dryer is an added bonus. Clean and spacious. Los Destilerados Beach is very beautiful, sandy, few rocks. The most people we ever counted on this beach was 9! The caretaker, Mark met us and was most helpful with everything. If you want a real, true Panama vacation this is for you. 15 minutes from town but far away from it all. Beautiful landscaping as well. The owners replied swiftly to our enquiries and gave us detailed directions from Panama City. Thank you Liv and Regina!

The loft was perfect: very clean, complete appliances , comfy beds, beautiful and spacious bathrooms, fast wifi. The communication with the owners was excellent, and Mark, the person who received us, was amazing. The loft itself is a VRBO 5 star. My only feedback is about the condo, it was Ok and had some opportunities, for example the lawn has not been mowed in a long time, and the security guard was not present 50% of the time (they were very kind though). Our plan was to spend 100% of the day on the beach, so the loft was perfect for our needs. Special thanks to Mark; I forgot my speakers in the loft and was very kind helping me recover them.

A great place to stay near Pedasi area, after the village and near the beaches. We spend three nights during Holly Week and had a great time, windy and sunny Panama still during this time of the year. Visited the near beaches but definitively the best is this one and Veano beach 20 minutes away from here. Find couple restaurants in the area, specially near Pedasi village. Great for a relaxing vacation near the sea. The loft is properly equiped and you can easily cook with the items provided. The finishing of the loft is very nice, with wooden and granite countertops in the kitchen, whole granite solid rock sinks, wooden closets and furniture in very good shape. Two queen beds properly equiped as well, comfortable matresses and no problem with sheets, pillows and enough towels around. Will return on July for sure. Fernando Baquero

The BUT in the title is totally about the accmodations and the quality of the furnishings within the unit we rented. First let me say that the area and location of the villa are excellent for a nice get away. The unit itself is nicely decorated however, when you pay the rates listed you expect that you will be able to relax and recharge overnight. This was not the case during our stay. The beds in the unit were not acceptable by any means. We had read about hard mattresses in prior reviews and took a pillow top cover with us. However this did not help at all. In addition to the beds being uncomfortable the Air Conditioners do not cool the unit enough to enjoy a restful sleep. waking up with beads of sweat on your body is totally unacceptable at the price point charged. We alerted the property manager after our first night and we were told that there was nothing she could do. We emailed the owner numerous times and we received nice replies that they were we sorry that the property manager could not help us. We live in Panama for a portion of the year and understand the tropics and the tempature. The complex that this unit is built in does not allow any breeze to enter the home so the A/C is critical to your comfort especially at night when you are trying to recharge from a fun filled day exploring the area. The unit is very nice but its in need of some upgrades to continue its 5 Star status.

"Good morning, in another beautiful day in paradise" was my daily greeting to my family each morning during our two week stay. Our trip was a vacation of a life time for us mid westerners and our stay was delightful. Being right next to the ocean beach was fabulous. And as early risers, my husband and I especially enjoyed the second story verandas for sipping coffee, watching the sun rise and bird watching. During the intensity of the mid-day sun we enjoyed lounging in the shade of the front porch as the cool breeze kept us comfortable. The swimming pool area overlooking the beach with its fragrance of flowering trees, colorful native birds flying about and areas of filtered sunlight to prevent sun burn, was my favorite place to relax. We especially enjoyed the interactions we had with the other vacationing occupants and the local residence who worked and maintained the facilities within this small community. Except for a few minor inadequacies that the facilities manager resolve quickly and the accommodations being a bit tight for five people, we were extremely happy with our experience.

This was the most beautiful villa in the most beautiful setting next to an amazing beach. The views are stunning. The home is so well appointed and clean. It was easy to find. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal. We loved it!! Hint: Be sure to pick up some spices and condiments before you come. Bienvenidush in Pedasí has great deli meets and cheeses for sale. The only tiny downside is the beds are REALLY firm. Be sure to make the drive 1.6km to Villa Romana for cocktails by the pool and a nice dinner overlooking the water!

Amazing place! The house has more than what you need. Very clean and complete. We had a wonderful time, beautiful complex right next to the beach.

Nicely designed loft, spacious for a couple, perfectly hassle free. The stunning beaches of Los Destilladeros are steps away, impeccably clean and were, during our stay in April, deserted.

Loft #9. Althoughh not right in front of the beach/pool, it was close enough.

This was our third trip to Panama and we wanted to see something new, so we went to the remote area of Pedasi. It is about a 5 hr drive CRM Panama City, but well worth it because you have a beach to yourself. The loft sits in a well-maintained and secure complex within 100' of the beach. The loft has everything you need, a modern kitchen and a/c, which is important on most days in Panama. I recommend the grocery stores in Pedasi. There are a handful of restaurants, but you really are going here if you want calm and peaceful. Enjoy!!

The owners of this property are very conscientious regarding maintenance and upkeep, taking care of this property as if they lived there all the time. This observation is based upon our stay in a sister unit in the same area which, by contrast, we found disappointing. Many unexpected amenities included a new washer-dryer combo and refrigerator; a wide range of beach equipment and other amenities that made our stay most enjoyable. All of the advertised appliances were functional except for a minor glitch in the ice maker to which the owner responded quickly and to our satisfaction. Written communication with the owner both before and during our stay was professional and prompt - always reflecting concern for our satisfaction with the property. Finally, the venue is simply breathtaking the feature attraction being a 2 km long sand beach for daily strolls with rarely another person to be seen for over an hour. The location within 50 steps of the the beach is one of those few remaining spots around the globe that is still off the grid and has not yet been turned into a tourist destination.

Lovely Villa with everything you need. My family and I just brought food and our bathing suits everything else was there. Beautiful place, clean and confortable. I highly recommend it.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed Loft 9. The accommodations were excellent! Spacious, clean and included everything we needed! The owners were very nice and greeted us warmly when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable. The use of wi-fi and internet was also a plus for us. Some nights we didn't even need the air conditioning the ceiling fans were sufficient. The beach is so close, just steps away. Very secluded and romantic. The restaurant and bar on the premise had great food at a reasonable price. Pedasi town also had great restaurants and was very close by. The town itself is quaint and the people are very friendly. We rented bikes and rode to two beaches close in town. We will definitely return and stay in Loft 9,
