Ford Wetley Cottage is situated about half a mile outside the picture postcard hamlet of Ford, along a dead end road. Away from the main house and secluded by trees, in fact you can’t see another property just the rolling fields and sheep. It’s the perfect place if you want some privacy and seclusion! The Holiday Cottage has three large bedrooms and can sleep 6 and we have one travel cot & high chair. On the ground floor there is a double bed & en-suite shower room. Upstairs there is a double bed bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a twin bed bedroom with shower room. The oak beamed farmhouse kitchen is well stocked with a electric hob and oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster & kettle, and has a dining table. Across the flag stone entrance hall is the spacious lounge, again with oak beams, exposed stone walls, real log burning stove, comfy leather sofas, solid oak floor, TV with Digital Satellite & DVD player and a selection of games. We also have a Sony Juke Box Hi-Fi, this plays CD’s, Radio, but you can also dock your Sony Walkman and iPod. It also has a hard disk which we have put over 4000 songs on for you to enjoy. There is a small step into the cottage and a step down to the ground floor bedroom, making it the perfect place for those not able to climb lots of stairs. The cottage has full central heating throughout. We supply all bed linen, tea towels, hand & large bath towels. On arrival you have a welcome pack of wine, our own free range organically fed eggs, milk and chocolates. There is also Ecover washing up liquid, washing powder and hand soap in each bathroom. As well as a small supply of tea & coffee for you arrival, sugar, salt & pepper. The cottage enjoys it’s own formal garden and is set in an acre of land which you’re welcome to explore, including two little brooks with waterfalls and woodland. This area is fenced off for our younger visitors safety. There is a garden bench, table and chairs, a sun umbrella and a state of the art ‘HotSpot’ BBQ, which converts to a fire pit to keep you warm in the evenings. If you are bringing your bikes, there is a secure place to store them and ample parking for at least three cars. |

All prices shown are for 7 night stays. Long weekends and short break rates are available October to March on request and cost 65% of a weeks stay. Weeks are Friday to Friday. |
