Description

The house is just a few short steps to the beach where you can hang a hammock and enjoy the beautiful ocean breeze or walk along one of the most private beaches in Costa Rica. Small shells and sand dollars are plentiful. All you will need for your vacation here are your clothes and food. The house is completely furnished right down to boogie boards, grill, hammock, beach chair, cd player, tv and, of course, a blender for those margaritas.

The town of Parrita is just 10 minutes away where you will find grocery stores, pharmacies, clinic, banks, hardware stores and restaurants.

Relaxing is second nature here, hang a hammock under the palm trees on the beach and just enjoy the ocean breeze. Or sit on the screened in front porch and watch the surf. At times, some of the local Ticos will come by to climb the palms and collect coconuts, try some fresh coconut milk right from the coconut.

You might want to go horseback riding down the beach! Or, if you're really adventurous, try power gliding at the resort down the road.

For a days outing you might want to take a 20 minute drive to Damas Island, where you can take a boat tour through the mangroves and get up close to some white faced monkeys.

Just 30 minutes away is the town of Quepos, here you can charter a boat for deep sea fishing, take a lunch or dinner sunset cruise which includes snorkeling and a chance to see dolphins. Also in Quepos is the very popular Manuel Antonio park where you will find beautiful scenery, monkeys, parrots and a host of other exotic animals.

A very popular tourist spot is the town of Jaco, this is just a pleasant 45 minute drive north. You can shop till you drop for all the souvenirs you need to bring back home, shops are all along the main street. There are many restaurants and bars, even a few casinos. Two large grocery stores in which you will find some American foods.

The house has two large bedrooms, one having a queen and a double bed. The other has one queen. The floor plan is open so you don't have to miss the view of the ocean or feel left  out while cooking in the large kitchen.  Air conditioning is in both bedrooms and livingroom/kitchen area. There is hot pressurized water (a luxury on the island), and a washer and dryer for your convenience. Everything to make you feel at home.

Upon arrival you will be met by Woody and Jill, local Americans, to help you get acquainted with the house and area. They will be nearby to help and guide you with all your needs for your entire stay.

Additional Rate Information


A $200.00 deposit is required with reservation. Balance of rental fee is to be paid a minimum of 3 weeks prior to reservation date. A $150.00 damage deposit is also due 3 weeks prior to date, if no damage is done, this deposit will be mailed back to you within 10 days of vacating property.
