This condo was fantastic. Tastefully refurbished, awesome location, and turnkey amenities. Michelle was very prompt to respond to all emails when any questions arose. I will definitely stay at this location if I plan to stay in the area in the future.
***Wonderful Owner -- Property Shows Pride of Ownership - Great Location*** Normally, we stay at the Resort. This time, we wanted to get a "local" feel and have the option of preparing our own meals, so we booked this rental. Pros: 1.) The Owner -- Incredibly responsive, professional and darling. Michelle bent over backwards to ensure we had a pleasant stay. 2.) The Condition / Decor of Property -- Clean and modern with thoughtful touches throughout. > The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, dishes, silverware, mugs, stemware, and all the accoutrements (coffee maker, mixer, butcher block knives, etc) one might have in their own home. > The living room is comfortable and cosy with windows looking out to the small deck/entrance and trees. > There's a good size TV for morning news, ambient music (provided on the upper stations) and evening movies curled up on the couch. > The bedroom is a little den with nice lay out -- two bedside tables, adequate lighting and storage for clothes/belongings. > The bathroom is bright and spotless. The towels are fluffy and there's enough room for two people to comfortably get ready for the day/night. 3.) The Location -- Walking distance to everything (Town Center, Mountain, Trails, Resort, Restaurants/Cafes/Bars.) Cons: Due to the structural design, excessive movement and activity from upstairs can be heard from this property. This was not really an issue the first night, but the second night, it began to escalate and impede on Husband's sleep. . . But(!), the owner was immediately responsive and the noise situation was quickly handled and resolved. :) HIGHLY RECOMMEND
This place has everything! A home away from home, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Communication with the owner was fantastic and all instructions very clear. They have thought of everything! And the photos don't do the condo justice...it's so big! The location is fabulous. We would love to come back and stay again.
We just enjoyed 2 spring days in Girdwood and found this condo just perfect for our needs. Close to everything we needed to do ... skiing and more skiing. The condo is really well laid out and the kitchen remodel is fantastic - everything we needed there too! Finally we loved the tasteful ski decor and support from Michelle was great. Looking forward to staying again next season!
Beautiful condo. Excellent location with easy access to local hiking and a very short drive to Whittier for all boating and wildlife activities. Terrific owners !
