Description

Indoor heated pool with clear glass roof and water cascade, billiard area, reading room, dinning room and two living rooms, three roofed terraces. One hectare of land with  beautiful gardens, tropical fruit, vegetable and spice patches,  4 dogs.  African and Australian Parakeets as well as Australian cocktails which breed in captivity. Chicken and quail in the property who provide a small amount of eggs for daily consumption.  
 
Two bedrooms have two double beds with a bunk bed and the bathrooms are inside. One of the bedrooms has a separate private door leading to the terrace. A third bedroom has one double bed and one queen bed. The fourth bedroom has two double beds. Third and fourth bedrooms share a 
 
full bathroom and have a separate door leading to them. A fifth bedroom has sofa bed uses the full pool bathroom in front of it.

Picard Ami or Arlene Lachman chose Anton Valley One and a half hours (128 kilometers) from Panama City, and usually 10-12 degrees cooler than the city. Thirty minutes (28 kilometers ) from the beaches, Great place to relax enjoy nature, mountain hiking, hot springs, go horseback riding, grow own vegetables, exercise. If you are up for it there are local companies who organize extreme sports expeditions like water rappelling, white water rafting, mountain biking or hiking, wall climbing, etc a block away from the property. What makes this House unique Magnificent mountain views and climate. Very private and luxury environment.

Gorgeous property in a gorgeous place

Our family gathering of 12 were easily accommodated and enjoyed a wonderful week at this idyllic property. The grounds are spacious and lush, with fruit, vegetable and flower gardens, multiple water features, with horses, sweet and friendly dogs, horses, chickens, parakeets and other birds, plus much more. The house has a large and well-equipped kitchen, large refrigerator and freezer, 8 burner stove, microwave and other modern appliances. The house is centered around a lovely indoor pool, half of which can be heated and used as a very large Jacuzzi/hot tub. There are multiple outdoor areas and private porches and lounges, indoor and outdoor grills. There are multiple dining areas, a large and comfortable common area for TV and conversation, multiple bars, a pool table, etc. In short, the house has everything to host a large family, party or restful vacation. There are four bedrooms as described, plus a music room that is easily converted into a fifth bedroom with full size bed.The town is a mile away, with a modern well-stocked grocery store, plus many restaurants and craft shops. Great hiking and interesting short trips and activities. A beautiful spot for a relaxing vacation in a naturally beautiful environment. Highly recommended. We will plan a return in the future. Dr. Picard Luis and Arleen were gracious and accommodating hosts, and helpfully suggested local activities.

Perfect for our group as a team retreat!

We used this place for a team retreat for our staff and it was wonderful! Tons of space and interesting things to see and do on the property and in the town. It came with a lady who was attending to our needs. She helped us with cooking and cleaning and she was a sweetheart. It wasn't clear in the contract until I submitted our rental request that she was part of the rental and we had to agree to pay an additional $100 to her but it was worth it. I would also add that the description says the house can sleep 18. I would say that depends on how you arrange your guests. We were very comfortable with 15 people but any more and it would have been too much. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed this place.

One word - Paradise!

We were visiting family in La Chorrera and decided to book a home that was away from the normal beach houses that we normally stay at when in Panama. What a perfect home for a family gathering, reunion, wedding, or simply entertaining and relaxing. As others have said, the climate is amazing! Warm but with steady breezes kept it comfortable all the time. The house, location, gardens, horse stables, everything was so beautiful and well maintained. Tons of space everywhere and all very comfortable. Several covered and open outdoor porches, plenty of tables to have meals at, the pool table, and of course, the indoor pool and openness of the entire home. The rooms were set up with plenty of beds and space for families to sleep comfortably. And of course, Annabel, the resident housekeeper who was a huge help in the kitchen as well as around the home. We can't wait to come back!

A really amazing and comfortable house perfect for all ages

This house was perfect for my stay. It was 8 adults and 4 children (including a baby) and we were all very comfortable. Most of the rooms hve full bathrooms inside, it has different places and ambiances to eat. Al fresco in a terrace, inside looking at the backyard, at the backyard, in front of the pool etc. Breeze was lovely and we even cooked at the fireplace/bbq outside and also the grill indoors. Also the backyard property was beautiful and it includes animals for the kids to watch and a lot of room to play and run. All in all a truly amazing house and i would love to comeback soon. Excellent!!

Jaw-dropping, one-of-a-kind, amazing house

This house is special. It comes with a ~500 sq meter common space that has a pool, grill, living room, and bar all in one room. It also has 3-4 lovely outdoor patios with tons of grass beyond, and 6 dogs that live outside in the yard! They know not to come inside, and are well trained. Luis, the owner, was very helpful in helping us customize our experience. His maid, Anabel, was very helpful all weekend as well. For a large group, this house couldn't be better!

We loved staying at Luis' house. It was such a unique and beautiful home. It's the ideal place for a group of people. The entire property is gorgeous and we loved the dogs. The staff was incredibly kind and helped us with anything we needed. We hope we can go back and stay there again. It was so great!

This property located in El Valle de Antón is a Treasure, not for luxury, but for the comfortable and warm. It has so many rich areas to be, not only is the pool, it is the whole house, its gardens, the terraces. We were a small group (8 adults), but accommodates 18/20 people and you will never feel tight. Has staff that helps with the work for a small extra.

A magical vacation

This is the second time I have stayed in this magical house. It is the kind of place that inspires you to want to live in Panama. This house is located in a beautiful little town called El Valle, about a 2-hour drive from Panama City. The weather in El Valle is very different than the weather in Panama City as it is up in the mountains and located in a volcano so the breezes are very refreshing and cool. The breeze makes for a relaxed, sound sleep at night. One of coolest features of this house is that there is a swimming pool right in the living room. The pool is built like a lagoon or what you would imagine if you were floating around in a local, natural panamanian pool in the jungle. The pictures don't do it justice. The house is complete with all amenities and then some, like a pool table, Wi-Fi, tons of cable stations, many terraces where you can eat or relax, horses (yes, I said horses), gardens with tons of fruit trees, but most of all, it comes with Annabel. Annabel is the housekeeper who is very caring, gentle and completely happy to make your life at the estate as comfortable as possible. I cannot recommend this place enough. It is exactly what you would need for a wonderful vacation. The house is huge so bringing a large family to relax, bond, and vacation together would be just what the doctor ordered.
