Welcome to our Oceanfront Penthouse Condo Albatros, a vacation rental in charming and quaint Bucerias, Mexico right on the beach of Banderas Bay on the Mexican Riviera. This condo and its beachside location are utterly spectacular. Bucerias is truly a wonderful place to vacation, and our Oceanfront Penthouse at Condo Albatros places you directly on the beautiful sandy shores of Banderas Bay in the highly desirable Golden Zone. This full-floor penthouse is one of only five units in the entire building, offering exceptional privacy and uninterrupted views of the ocean from every window. From sunrise to sunset, you can watch pelicans glide by, fishing boats drift along the coast, and, if you're lucky, dolphins and whales playing in the bay. The beach in front of the condo is wide, soft, and surprisingly uncrowded, giving you a peaceful and authentic beachfront experience.
 
Spacious, Open, and Built for Relaxation
Inside, the condo offers approximately 2,600 square feet of open and luxurious living space, along with a large oceanfront balcony that extends across the entire width of the unit. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors fully open to create a seamless indoor–outdoor living area where ocean breezes and the soothing sound of waves flow naturally through the home. Recently updated and freshly painted, the condo is in pristine condition. The soaring 30-foot palapa roof adds to the airy atmosphere, while handcrafted Mexican lighting fixtures and carefully selected local artwork enhance the home’s warm and inviting character. The spacious living and dining areas are perfect for relaxing, entertaining, or simply enjoying the magnificent ocean views.
 
Three King Bedrooms - Each with a Private Palapa Balcony
Each of the three bedrooms features a comfortable king bed, ceiling fans, air conditioning, and a private palapa-roof balcony with beautiful views both day and night. Mexican onyx lamps, locally crafted décor, and sliding glass doors add charm and elegance to each room. The master suite has its own ensuite bathroom, while the other two bedrooms have private bathrooms just outside their doors. All of the bathrooms feature granite countertops, tiled finishes, and windows that let in the refreshing sound of the ocean.
 
Fully Equipped, Modern Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with brand-new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and everything you need to prepare anything from a light snack to a full meal. A whole-house UV purification system ensures clean, drinkable water from every faucet and shower in the condo, making cooking, drinking, and washing produce completely safe and convenient. A washer and dryer are also provided for your comfort, and if you’d like, our caretaker can arrange for a private chef to prepare a special meal right in the condo.

Dining options are plentiful, whether you prefer enjoying breakfast at the kitchen’s breakfast bar, gathering around the large dining table, or sipping wine on the oceanfront balcony as the sun sets over the bay. Bucerias is one of the most walkable and charming villages along the Riviera Nayarit. Just a short stroll from the condo, you'll find a mini-supermarket, fruit and vegetable shops, fresh fish and meat markets, bakeries, coffee shops, artisan stalls, and a variety of restaurants. For larger shopping trips, the Mega supermarket is a quick and entertaining bus ride away. Local buses also make it easy to travel north or south to nearby towns, including Puerto Vallarta.

About the Owner

We feel so very lucky to have bought Penthouse Condo Albatros. It is a gem and in a wonderful location. The special Mexican touches in the house and the beautiful woodwork are lovely. We are surrounded by good folks and delightful shops and restaurants. Outside our door we can buy fresh strawberries, muffins, watermelons, We are a quick walk into town and right on a fabulous uncrowded sandy beach. We can walk right down the beach to several yummy Mexican beachside restaurants and watch the sunset as we have our drinks! It could not be better! We are stiill working here in Alaska (Jim is a civil engineer and construction manager) and Dency is a teacher of the deaf and owns her own tutoring business. We hope soon to retire to Mexico six months of the year and spend the summer months here in spectacular Alaska . We then can have the best of both worlds!

Doesn't get much better!

Our family of 5 (all adults) recently returned from a fabulous week at this lovely condo. It is as described and pictured and I think all of us would choose to stay there again in the future. One could be happy just hanging out at the condo but it also convenient to everything Bucerias has to offer. Several of the other condo owners were in residence while we were there and they were lovely as were the other guests we encountered. There were a few minor issues ( a problem with the receipt of our 2nd payment, a broken thermostat on the refrigerator which consistently froze and ruined our fresh food, and a leaky pipe in one of the bathrooms -which we were not informed about even though it was a known issue - that flooded one of the bedroom one night and cause my son to slip and fall ) No place is perfect but I did expect at least an apology from the owners and so far that hasn't happened. Never-the-less, if these issues have been corrected, and I believe they will be, we found the condo to be a great value and did enjoy our stay.

This condo was perfect for our vacation with friends. We had 5 adults in this 3 bedroom condo, we had plenty of space, and I loved the private balconies off of each bedroom. The pool was the perfect size for the condo building and it was never crowded. We were there for Easter Week and expected crowds on the beach but there were never more than a few groups of people on the beach in front of the condo. It is just the right distance from city center of Bucerias to keep the crowds down. That being said, it is a quick 10 minute walk to city center where there are several restaurants and shops. We loved being on the top floor of the condo unit, the afternoon breezes were amazing and we had completely uninteruppted views of the kite surfers. We had 2 fluent spanish speakers in our party, which was nice, but not necessary within Bucerias.

This property is everything the owners say it is. We have had a tour of this property and we hope to stay here one day. We have had the pleasure of staying at their other property just behind this one. The owners are very gracious and do everything necessary to make your stay the best!
