When you make a confirmed booking, you are entering into a contract of hire and will be liable for all monies due (including any balance of hire) should you be forced to cancel due to unexpected unavoidable circumstances that are beyond your control. This typically includes illness or injury that prevent you from taking your holiday. It is therefore strongly recommended that you take out your own cancellation protection scheme. Booking Deposit - To confirm your booking, you will need to pay a deposit of 20% of the hire cost. The balance will then become due no less than 8 weeks before your holiday. Payment will be required in full if booking within 9 weeks of the start date of your holiday. Security Deposit - A security deposit of £150 will be requested with your balance of hire. This will be refunded in full within 30 days of your departure subject to the property being vacated on time in a clean condition and with no breakages (we don't include the odd accidental broken cup or plate as we understand that accidents will occasionally happen). Pets - One well behaved pet is welcome at Riverside at a small cost of £25 per holiday. We regret that pets are not permitted at Anchor Cottage. |
