It has three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms and a separate toilet. For skiers, there is a heated ski room where you can leave your boots and skis-its fully secured and you will have your own key.

Location Information

With its nostalgic timber houses, the many dispersed holiday chalets and hotels dating from the \"belle-epoque\" period, this Bernese Oberland holiday resort has retained all the character of a picture postcard mountain village.Opening widely to the south west, the terrace guarantees above-average hours of sunshine. In the summer you can explore over 500 KM of marked walking trails and 15 mountain cableways that lead to the most beautiful vantage points of the Jungfrau region - take, for example, the classic panorama route between Wengen and Kleine Scheidegg, which offers a particularly impressive view of the Eiger,Monch and Jungfrau.

The Bernese Oberland is one of the most spectacularly beautiful regions of Switzerland. It is well worth a visit, especially during the summer months. The combination of snow-capped mountain peaks, fresh air, summer heat, jagged rocks and lush rolling green hills will quickly fascinate you. If you like hiking you will find your \"eldorado\" in the Bernese Oberland. You will be rewarded with 100% pure nature. From the romantic shores of Lake of Thun until the endless forests until the freezing cold in glaciers, one highlight follows the other.

Wengen lies on a wind protected terrace at the foot of the Jungfrau,400 metres above the Lauterbrunnen valley at an altitude of 1274 M. The tradition-imbued,car free holiday resort offers a family friendly ski and rambling area around the Mannlichen and the Kleine Scheidegg.

Those who like things a bit more spirited might like to try their skill at paragliding, river rafting or canyoning. But for eye-popping amazement, you should walk the Eiger trail at the foot of the Eiger north face,a medium-difficulty mountain walking tour.Take a trip to the highest railway station in Europe, the Jungfrau railway-the most famous mountain railway in the world. Opened in 1912, this cog wheel railway leads to the highest railway station in Europe at 3454M above sea level. It stops at viewing platforms allowing fascinating views over the famous north wall of the Eiger and the glaciers of Eismeer.

Winter for skiing. Summer for walks and hikes. Wengen is fabulous every season

About the Owner

On one of our many travels around the world, we found ourselves in the small mountain village of Wengen, high in the Swiss Alps. We were looking out over the village and surrounding mountains from our hotel balcony and we both agreed it was one of the most beautiful sights we had ever seen. I looked over to Joyce and said, one day we will live here, 3 years later our dream came true. Joyce and I are from the UK but currently live in Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Chalet Brunner.....Heaven on earth...a gem tucked away in the Swiss Alps that literally, takes your breath away. Sitting in the living room, watching skiers whizz past you, not something you see on a normal day in your living room at home! The rooms are very spacious with impressive separate bathrooms and storage. The village has everything you could need, even for a family with kids. We did not want to leave Chalet Brunner!

There's one word to describe Wengen - perfect! We've been here three times and had a great time, every time. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and homely, with all the mod cons and what a perfect position! You're a walk or ski from the station, right at the end of a ski run and right next to a friendly, fun snow bar, a great place to end the day and watch the sun go down. The scenery, the village, the people and the food are all good. We've had a great time with lovely people and can't wait until next time.

Great location
Dean

Chalet brunner is fantastically located just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Wengen and yet literally at the end of the slopes so you can truly ski back to the front door. The chalet itself is bright , airy spacious and modern with all furnishings and finishes to a superb standard. I have stopped in many ski chalets and this is definitely the best both for location and standard of accommodation - could not recommend it more strongly

Chalet Brunner is a great way to spend your ski holiday in style. The apartment is peacefully located at the end of a blue ski slope so we really did ski back to the chalet. Before we did will passed a little snow bar for some great après-ski. The chalet is less then ten-minutes walk from the main shops and restaurants in Wengen. This fabulous chalet in this beautiful location transformed our view of what a skiing holiday could be. Paul and Joyce were fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble and was without doubt one of the best winter holidays we had ever enjoyed.

A very high standard
Neil

You will struggle to beat this chalet for all round contemporary comforts and high standards. We have experienced it in both summer and winter. In summer the views and setting made for a perfect quiet retreat, whilst in winter the easy access to the slopes and nearby Snow Bar made Chalet Bruner a great choice and is therefore highly recommended
