Eastern Market Suites is a charming, newly renovated Victorian house featuring a three room suite on the first level, offering a single bedroom w/queen-size bed, a double-size sofa-bed in your tastefully furnished living room, and other high-end amenities. Located at the Eastern Market Metro station, on Capitol Hill, in Washington, DC., we are less than two blocks from the historic Eastern Market (circa 1873), where visitors enjoy fresh produce six days a week and an outdoor flea market featuring antiques and local artisan's wares every weekend.  Your suite is around the corner from Barrack's Row (a very popular destination point for restaurants, coffee shops and shopping), and 1/2 block from easy subway access to anywhere in or around the city.

About the Owner

About Kirk Beatley History of the Guest House Kirk Beatley is a native Washingtonian who bought this house from relatives in 2008, which he then meticulously restored and renovated to updated while retaining the original 1890 Victorian ambiance. This lovely Victorian house has been in the family since 1905 when his great grandmother and her daughter purchased the house so that her daughter would raise her own family. Now a new generation of Washingtonians would like you to have the opportunity of experiencing living on Capitol Hill. Kirk Beatley purchased this Apartment in 2008

We loved our stay at Eastern Market Suites. It is located just a few blocks from our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren so the location is perfect for us. The property is very well kept and had everything we needed for a week long stay. Kirk, the host, is kind, responsive, informative and engaging. We would love to stay here again on our next visit to the grandkids!

Very happy with our stay. Comfortable spot for my son and I to have a great weekend trip to DC. Eastern Market suites is 1-2 blocks from a metro station, pharmacy, Starbucks, and great restaurants. We were able to arrange to drop off our luggage early and leave our bags a little late for more sightseeing time. Very, very clean kitchen, bathroom and bedding. Highly recommend!

A great place to stay in DC that's close to all Monuments, Buses and restaurants.

We really like the inner city location with quaint neighborhood restaurants. There were many nearby with very good food. We were close to Metro Buses, Trains and DC circulators (just 50c) that took us to all locations of visit. Kirk was very prompt and made sure all accomodations were supplied;Even a Parking permit to park anywhere on the street. and we always found a spot near the apt. Overall a very good place to stay and visit DC. I would definitely stay here again.

The home is quaint and lovely. Nicely redone with a cute backyard, where you can chill out on a cool evening. The location was perfect for a number of reasons. A relative lives nearby and the Eastern Market area is so vibrant and full of great restaurants and pubs. Had a great time. I would definitely stay again on another visit to Washington, DC!

Great suite and neighborhood. Convenience of metro stop and proximity of great restaurants were huge benefits of this location. Kirk was easy to work with while setting the reservation and accommodating while we were visiting DC. Definitely try to rent this unit next time we are in DC.
