Oma's is in the heart of the village, on a dead-end private lane, tucked in among native Ohia and Koa Trees and Hapu'u Tree Ferns. Wake to the sound of birds, walk to the coffee shop, general store, post office, and Kilauea Lodge's gourmet restaurant. Shower in rain water caught from the roof, warm yourself by the fire place, and gaze out at the loveliness that surrounds you.
Your hosts, Todd Marohnic and family, live just across the lane in a 1930's Plantation house. Guests are encouraged to drop in and get an insider's knowledge of the area surrounding Volcano. An avid hiker, runner, and mountain biker, Todd knows the trails from "beginner" to "extreme".
Oma's, a cedar A-frame mountain house, has a gas fire place, fully-equipped kitchen, one bathroom with shower, livingroom with flatscreen Internet TV featuring Roku & Netflix, a loft master bedroom with king size bed and picture window views, and two downstairs bedrooms - one with a queen bed, and a children's room with bunk beds. There is free wireless internet access.
