Everything about the house suited our needs...the pool is well-maintained and beautiful, there is lots of comfortable outdoor seating and the home itself is updated in every way and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We like to cook and grill and the kitchen was well-supplied and easy to work in. We slept well on the comfy beds and enjoyed the beautiful plantings in Chuck's yard while eating outside for each meal. The home is also close to everything so we walked the boardwalk, went to restaurants and shops and easily made it to the beach many times. Chuck was easy to work with and helped us settle in on arrival. He even filled up the tires in the bikes as he knew we wanted to take them out! We would like to book again for next year we enjoyed our stay so much.
This was our second 3 month stay in this great house on a lovely residential street lined with huge old live oak trees. It's a great location, just several blocks from the ocean, from the shops and restaurants, from the dog park, from Riverside Park and the inter-coastal water way. We love all of the windows and huge sliding glass doors and all of the light. The lanai is a fun place to hang out if you don't want to sit around the poo in the sun and has a great dining area. We grilled out a lot on the large gas grill by the pool. Chuck is a fantastic landlord, very accommodating and always helpful. We are already planning our trip back for another 3 months next winter. We have two Westie's who love running around the large fenced yard and hanging out on the lanai and by the pool. You will love staying here.
Being my first HomeAway excursion I was impressed upon arrival with the beautiful artwork and elegant accomodations - truly a home i would like for myself. Location was excellent for walking to the beach and nearby restaurants or a jog accross the causeway. Biking trails were great for going to nearby shopping and museums. I would recommend the COBALT restaurant, a little pricey but delicious with a comfortable atmoshpere. A tour of the Piper aircraft factory is not to be missed.
Arrived and was delighted with the tree lined street.A three minute walk to the heart of the hotel/restaurant core was the value here . No car was required , also a three minute walk the other way on the street to the marina.There are rental fishing boats available along with private boats as well. At the home which is totally renovated are beautiful rooms fully equipped with flat screen tv's, wifi ,etc. Comfy beds , a heated salt water pool and screened in porch backing onto a huge privately fenced yard. Bikes for your enjoyment, when can we come back?
