we spent time over XMAS and for family birthday event- had all our kids, dog, and had a great time. All rooms comfortable, kitchen use was perfect, pool(heater didn't work so a little cold), location perfect- walked to town, beach. Would certainly use again!
We rented last March. The house was very comfortable and the private pool was used almost every day. The short walk to the beach and town were considered our "excercise". We entertained under the lanai several times as we have friends down at the same time. Chuck was always helpful. We realized we had left a few items and a call to him got them shipped to our home. We recommend this house and Chuck the host.
We spent 2 weeks at Chuck’s place in July, and it was absolutely wonderful. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had adults in the bedrooms, 2 teens on the pullout sofa in the sunroom, and our big dog, Luke, who made himself quite at home in the living room. Chuck was very responsive to our needs, and treated me like an old friend when I bumped into him at Publix. It’s a 3-minute walk to Conn Beach, and less than 10 minutes’ walk to the Ocean Grill, the retail shops, and Blue Star Wine Bar. You can’t beat this location, and Chuck is a superb host.
Where do I begin? The owner, Chuck, was very personable and flexible. His home was as described, it was clean and neat with a homey-feeling, and larger than I expected. The home was located 1 block from the beach on a very quiet street. There were plenty of towels, beach towels, laundry supplies, and pantry supplies to start our stay off right! My family and I walked every day to local restaurants and shops. For dinner, we either ate out or grilled at home. We walked to the Riverside Park to enjoy the 4th of July fireworks, a very nice park. Even though the temperature hovered in the 90s, we very much enjoyed the heated pool! When I called Chuck to ask a favor, he went above and beyond to meet our needs and expectations. By the time we left, I felt as if we had made a new friend! I would certainly stay in one of Chuck's properties again in the future. I highly recommend contacting Chuck for vacation options in Vero Beach, FL.
