Taigh a' Bhraoin makes an ideal base for exploring some of the finest scenery in the North West Highlands. Away to the South-East beyond the head of Loch Broom stretches the fertile wooded glen of Strath More, with the lofty peaks of the Fannich Hills soaring above. A rugged picturesque coast road North-West of Ullapool skirts the shores of Loch Kanaird on the edge of the wild Coigach district. It affords views of the off-shore Isle Martin, then turns inland through Strath Kanaird with 750 metre high Ben Mor Coigach dominating the scene |
