The cottage is five minutes from the beach, but seconds from the Loch shore. There is lots of room if you want to bring your own kayaks, boat or bikes. A cottage has been on this site for hundreds of years, but sadly these years have taken their toll and the traditional stone cottage was dismantled. However the stories attached to the cottage and its place in Hebridean history couldn't be left to fade. The new cottage was built and clad in the original stone, it has been lovingly decorated, to a very high standard that is simple, but stylish. Riof Ocean Cottage again looks out proudly from the shore of Loch Roag. The memory of its occupants lives on.
