This West Coast Contemporary Post and Beam Lodge was designed to embrace the natural beauty that surrounds it. "He-Tin-Kis" loosely translates to mean "By the Sea", and perfectly describes this cozy get-away. The lodge is privately situated on the ocean in a pristine rain forest setting. Centrally located and close to all town amenities. You may follow the Wild Pacific Trail through giant Cedar trees, past Terrace Beach, through the He-Tin-Kis Park, to the Amphitrite Point Lighthouse and back, OR go the other direction and walk into the town of Ucluelet. Rent a bike or a surfboard. Go kayaking, hiking, whale watching, or fishing. Relax on the beach or in your oceanfront suite. Wildlife surrounds the Lodge. A variety of birds, including several resident Bald Eagles, and deer can be seen daily. Grey, Humpback, and Orca whales are spotted seasonally. Seals, Stellar sea lions, and the occasional Black bear, may been seen often. |
