Description

Incredible panoramic views of the Caribbean and St. Barts! The Jewel has been completely renovated. Now the Jewel has a 5th bedroom and bath with its own entrance for grandparents or those wishing more privacy from the group.We do not rent this studio separately but do include it in the 5 bedroom price. The studio has one queen and a set of bunk beds. The 4 master bedrooms have king beds one with an additional queen futon sleeper.
 
 Villa Caribbean Jewel is located in the exclusive gated community of Tamarind Hill Estates on the Dutch side of the island near the French/Dutch border. A few minutes drive to Dawn Beach, Orient Beach, and Guana Bay Beach. Numerous outstanding restaurants 2 minutes away. Ten-Fifteen minutes away from the Dutch capital of Philipsburg and shopping.
 
This luxury Mediterranean-style villa features remote controlled gated entry, lush gardens, extensive balconies and terraces, and a private pool with a disappearing edge.The entire villa can be rented with one, two, three,or four master bedroom suites featuring king sized beds, private balconies, air conditioning, and in-suite baths. We have added a 5th bedroom studio apartment with a kitchen. 5.5 total baths to accommodate 13 guests with an additional sleeper futon in one of the bedrooms. We have a portacrib for our little guests. Each bedroom has a beautiful view of the Caribbean with views of other caribbean islands. Ursula our housekeeper who resides on the property is available for all your questions and needs. She will escort you from your car rental to the beautiful Caribbean Jewel. This fully equipped private home has it all from the cool caribbean breezes to breathtaking views of the sea, mountains, and gardens.
 
Keywords: Luxury villa with all the comforts of home. Yes we have a BACKUP GENERATOR that runs the entire villa during a power loss so you never miss a day of paradise. We have a vonage line for free calling to home to check on the family to tell them how wonderful your vacation is. All the beds are kings with private baths in the main house and a queen and bunk bed with a private bath and kitchenette in the 5th bedroom with stairs up to the pool/main floor of the villa. About the Owner

About Owner We live on the South River in Riva Maryland which is a small town in the Annapolis Maryland area. We have 3 grown children in their 30's who all live in the area. Bob works in Washington D.C. and Ginny is a school teacher in Silver Spring MD. Owner purchased this Villa in 2007 Why Owner chose Oyster Pond St. Maarten has it all, beaches, restaurants, clubs, exciting day trips and the weather is gorgeous all year long.There is something for everyone young and old or you can simply do nothing and nap, read a book and look at the sea!!!!!! So many choices!!!!!!!!!!!! A perfect vacation for everyone!!!!! What makes this Villa unique One word...'Ursula' our housekeeper...she is the best and gives the villa the caribbean touch!!! She can cook caribbean meals for you, babysit, and has taken care of the villa and guests for 18 years. She is a live on concierge in her own apartment. She can escort you to restaurants, grocery shopping, island shopping, and can answer your daily questions about sxm and our beautiful villa.She is referred by all as the "gem" of the Jewel! Our villa has one of the best views on the island..simply paradise!!!

This has to be the best vacation we have taken so far. We have been to several Caribbean islands and resorts of sorts but our stay at Caribbean jewel in St. Maarten was the best experience we have had so far. The house is beautiful with breathtaking ocean views . Ursula is really good at taking care of this house and it’s guests. Our family loved spending time here. Kids loved the place because they had plenty of room to play, run around and swim in the rooftop pool. We had fun relaxing evenings at the deck with the cool ocean breeze and the scenery around the house. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a fun relaxing vacation in a beautiful property surrounded with gorgeous views. We are truly in love with this place and hopefully will be back soon.

Paradise with hidden gems......great family gathering

We rented the villa over Christmas with 9 of us for my daughter's senior trip with family. All of us were in awe.....there are no words to describe the views from every room! Ursula was wonderful: she cooked for us one night, picked flowers for us, took us to an amazing bakery, gave tips on places to go.....she's a gem! We rented 1 car for short trips to town when not everyone wanted to go and used Gizmo for the group. He was great! Good recommendations from him and Scooby's at Grand Case was the best! Ginny was amazing through the whole process with tips on rental cars, places to go, what to expect, and the never ending questions that come with group travel. My family can't even begin to put in to words the beauty of the villa. Can't wait to visit again!

Ocean breezes were amazing and the sunrise perfect! Well appointed and comfortably furnished clean house with private bathroom to each bedroom. Dipping pool was perfect for end of day cooling off. House was centrally located on island to beaches both Dutch and French side. Ursula the housekeeper was a gem and very helpful, kids (and adults) would love to watch her feed the hermit crabs. Highly recommendable home for the adventurist and relaxer, you'll have it all!

My family has been coming to Villa Caribbean Jewel for years. The home is beautifully decorated and back to being perfected as always.You can’t find a a more majestic view And fully decorated and equipped home as this on the island. Don’t miss out renting it because it is quite the catch.

Amazing house with breathtaking views

Recently spent a week at Villa Caribbean Jewel and can't wait to return. The house is amazing with everything to make your vacation memorable. First the views are unbelievable. If we never left the house it would have been one of the best vacations we ever had. With the infinity pool overlooking the ocean views are hard to describe. The house and gardens are spectacular. Spacious bedrooms, fully equipped modern kitchen and plenty of space for large gatherings. Truly what makes this home special and vacation memorable is Ursula. Ursula takes care of your every need and her knowledge of the island and must visit beaches and restaurants take all the guess work out of your stay. The island has really recovered from the hurricane and beaches are unbelievable. White sand and clear blue water wherever you go. If you are a foodie St Maarten is a must vacation. The choice of restaurants is unlimited from casual dining on the Dutch side of the island to fine dining on the French side. We have vacationed in just about all the Caribbean islands and nothing compares to what we experienced at Villa Caribbean Jewel. We will be returning to Villa Caribbean Jewel every year!!!!
