Open all year round….During the spring, summer and fall seasons you can enjoy Wisconsin’s Northwoods. Vilas county and the Eagle River area provide some of the richest and most varied fishing grounds in the world. You can enjoy everything from the trout fishing in the stream to walleye, bass, northern pike, muskie and all kinds of panfish abound the many area lakes. Take advantage of the many swimming and water sports or just relax in the sun on the pier.

In the winter, snowmobilers have an extensive trail system that is easy to find. And for cross country-skiers they can enjoy the well groomed trails just a few miles away. Abai Shores Retreat is a uniquely designed custom built home. Located on Kathan Lake (Private Lake) of the Eagle River Chain of Lakes. Private location that offers an quiet and safe area for children to play with lots of room to rest and relax.
