Built over 120 years ago Maymear Holiday Travel Cottage Rental is at one end of a terrace of five vacation cottages in the picturesque and friendly village of St. Tudy - birthplace of Captain Bligh of the 'Bounty'. This lovely vacation travel cottage rental is approached from its own gravelled parking area to the front door opening directly onto a well equipped fitted kitchen with cooker, microwave oven, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A door leads through to the dining room with wood burner stove (an initial supply of logs is provided in the cooler months). To the rear is a cloakroom-cum-utility area with separate w.c. and washbasin and back door entrance leading up to an attractive holiday cottage style garden with paved and lawned areas. To the front is a cosy sitting room with colour TV and choice of open or electric fire. Stairs lead from this room to a landing, two bedrooms and a large bathroom with bath, overhead electric shower, w.c. washbasin and heated towel rail. The sleeping accommodation is flexible with two 3ft twin beds that can be linked to form a double in one room and two 2ft 6in beds that can be linked to form a 5ft double in the other. Bed linen, linen and towels are provided. All rooms are heated by night storage and/or electric convector heaters and all electricity is inclusive. |
