Birchwood Lodge is a Scandinavian-style bungalow set in glorious countryside in West Sussex . Birchwood Lodge was purpose-built by Scandia Hus in 2002 and is not a conversion from farm buildings. It is located in the grounds of the owners' house which is 100 yards away. Birchwood Lodge has full central heating, triple glazing and a high standard of insulation and is suitable for holiday use in all seasons. There is private parking for one car adjacent to the bungalow and additional on-site parking is available a short walk away. The bungalow is a no-smoking area under the regulations introduced by the government.

Birchwood Lodge is at the end of a cul-de-sac lane 2/3rds of a mile from the public highway. There is no passing traffic and there is good access to the countryside for walking via footpaths and bridleways. Maximum occupancy in Birchwood Lodge is for four people. A fold up bed or a cot for an extra child can be made available as can a high chair. There is a secure fenced area of garden suitable for young children immediately to the rear of Birchwood Lodge. Children's toys can be borrowed by arrangement. One well behaved dog may be accommodated subject to prior agreement with the owners. Bedlinen, towels, electricity and heating oil are included in the price. Towels are for indoor use only.

Birchwood Lodge bookings are taken for a week, or consecutive weeks, with Saturday as the change-over day. All bookings will therefore run from 1500 hours and will terminate at 1000 hours on a Saturday. We will normally agree to treat a particular week as "reserved" for a short period when arranged well in advance to enable travel and leave arrangements to be finalised. A deposit of £100 per week is payable to make a firm advance booking. A week will only be shown as "booked" following receipt of the deposit. The balance is then payable two months prior to occupation.

Full payment is due at the time of booking when this is within two months of the date of occupation. All bookings are subject to the owners' standard terms and conditions. These can be viewed on this website. All payments for short notice bookings must be made via a credit or debit card. Advanced booking payments can be made by cheque drawn on a UK bank, or bank transfer as well as by debit or credit card (4% surcharge on cards).
