My place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups, family reunions, ski trips, and furry friends (dogs).
The Space
The Tall Tree lodge is on a dead-end street surrounded by the forest. You do not feel like you are in a residential neighborhood but in the woods. We provide everything you need for a stress-free vacation including your first-night dinner and cold beer or wine awaiting your arrival. Your kitchen is fully stocked along with the bathrooms. Get ready to relax and enjoy your vacation!

Other things to note
We provide your first-night dinner, nothing fancy but if you have not had time to shop, very handy. We also have cold beer awaiting your arrival and, or a nice bottle of wine. We offer many more amenities then you would normally find in a vacation rental. We like to imagine what we would need. We also offer one night free when you book for 7 days. Ask about last-minute deals.

The beauty alone is worth the trip. So much to do to keep everyone no matter the age- happy and busy.

This place is in a beautiful setting! We had four families stay for a family reunion with others that stayed elsewhere and it was a great house to entertain. Plenty of room for the kids to run outside, and a great deck out back for gatherings. Would recommend this awesome home.
Wendy and Eric are very thoughtful and kind hosts. We made last minute plans to go to Lake Tahoe and booked the house the morning of our arrival. We received immediate confirmation and Wendy and Erik called and texted all the information we needed for a stress free check-in. Very thoughtful :) The house is really lovely, spacious and comfortable (the beds were so cozy!). Great layout for a big family or group of friends. Nice backyard with forest views (not fenced) and jacuzzi on the back deck. Our dogs enjoyed exploring the forest. There’s a Pool table and lots of games to play, Washer/drier to keep your traveling adventure family clean & tidy!! There is a garage to park your car in (our minivan had a box carrying skis so we could not fit, but we were able to park on the street - it’s on a dead end street so no through traffic) Great location and base to explore the Lake Tahoe area and just a few minutes drive into Heavenly Village. Lots of good restaurants, shops and couple Casino hotels on the Nevada side. (Also the Village Gondola is located there). -You can walk to the Marina and lakefront. (We drove down as we were always heading off somewhere else to explore). -The closest ski lifts for Heavenly are at the California Lodge gondola (we drove (3min) since it’s a bit far to walk with all the ski equipment and plus there is free parking). It really is home away from home and a great place to relax after a fun day of adventures. We will definitely be coming back :
Wendy & Erik were awesome! When we ran into challenges, they were so responsive and helpful. Their house was also super close to the slopes. We would definitely stay here again!
A very nice place with a lot of space. As advertised location. The kitchen table and dining room table are also large for a big group or family.
