Shamrock is a very family friendly location with access to the shuttle! This unit is a 1 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom condo that sleeps up to 4. My family of 4 enjoyed a 4 night stay. It was our first stay at Shamrock after previous stays at Powderridge, Rimfire and Whistle Punk. The first impression was just how much space you are treated to at Shamrock. The adults have their own room and full bath upstairs on the loft and the kids gave their own TV and pull out sofa downstairs. Everywhere you look there are hooks and shelves to hang your gear. The kitchen is impressively stocked with anything you would need to handle most of your cooking needs. The only appliance we brought was a waffle maker. I could also see bringing a crock pot. To keep cooking to a minimum we also brought leftover chili, pulled pork, Korean beef and cooked bacon. Shamrock is whisper quiet--huge!! Shamrock is a two minute downhill walk to the slope serviced by the Powderridge lift. The downhill walk is steep so we always opted for the shuttle at Powder Monkey to take us home. Shamrock has its own shuttle stop which we used often to escape the crowds of Snowshoe for the less crowded Silver Creek.
