Each side of the home includes three floors of impeccable style and there’s a heated private swimming pool for all to enjoy. Everything within the home is brand new as of June 9, 2015, when it was redesigned by one of the area’s most respected interior designers. You will literally be right across the street from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and 100 yards from Beach Access #10. Plus, you’ll be just five blocks from the charms of Siesta Key Village.
Casa de Mariposa Whole House is a six-bedroom / six-bathroom, air-conditioned home that combines two luxurious townhomes into one incredible vacation residence. Altogether the total house sleeps up to 16 when the two queen-sized sleeper sofas are put to use. There are two private driveways with a total of four garage spaces for your cars.
Each side of the home offers identical accommodations. The one difference is that one side faces east and one west, toward the Gulf. On either side, walk through the arched doorway into a large great room that combines the gourmet kitchen dining area and main living area. The couches are so comfortable and provide great seating for watching the huge flat-screen HDTV. There’s also a DVD player so you can take in your movie favorites. Plus, the entire home offers free Internet. You’ll love this for sending photos back home, making reservations and checking out websites for area attractions.
Beyond the living room is one of many balconies you will find throughout Casa de Mariposa. Step through the glass doors and out into the balmy salt air. You’ll love dining al fresco around the table or sipping a cocktail before dinner on this balcony. Life is good when you rent the whole house at Casa de Mariposa.
Both sides of Casa de Mariposa include a gourmet kitchen that’s equipped with everything you need to prepare great meals for you and your guests. You’ll love the expansive granite countertops, beautiful appliances and extensive cabinets with room to hold all the food you need for your stay. The dining table is just steps from the kitchen which makes serving and clearing so easy. And, if you need overflow seating, there are four bar stools at the breakfast bar near by.
The configuration of rooms is identical in the two townhomes that comprise Casa de Mariposa Whole House: There’s one bedroom on the second floor that is outfitted with a king-sized bed and private en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and vessel sink. The other two bedrooms are located on the third floor. If stairs are a challenge, have no worries. You can reach these upper bedrooms by in-house elevator in either townhome. The first bedroom on the third floor includes a king-sized bed, a balcony with a Gulf view and private en suite bathroom. The second bedroom on the third floor features two twin beds and a private bathroom. This is a great space for any kids who accompany you to Siesta Key. All bedrooms throughout the home have flat-screen TVs perfect for late night viewing.
The private terrace surrounding the pool outdoors includes lots of lounge chairs where you and your guests can sun yourselves after a refreshing swim. Or, head across the way to the magnificent white sand shores of world famous Siesta Key beach and the Gulf of Mexico. We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was simply a short walk across street to the beach. The pool was perfect for the kids. I rented the entire house. It was advertised as the same on both units. My only disappointment was that the back unit was not nearly as big as the front. From the living space to the stackingvwasher and dryer all smaller than the front. We did find lots of good beach toys for the kids in the garage as well which was a bonus and also there are plenty of very nice beach towels so something else you don't need to pack.
