Description

Unit 402 at the House of the Sun is an attractive condo offering resort living. The unit has just been painted throughout and redecorated. It has two bedrooms and two new full baths with safety bars. The master has a king size bed, large closets, full bath, a work/makeup station with makeup mirror and large high-def flat screen television. The second bedroom has full and twin beds, large closets, and a high-def flat screen television.
 
The floor plan is open throughout with a dining-living room combo leading to a nice sized balcony with new furniture and table for outside dining. The living room has a 50 inch, ultra-high definition TV, and home theater sound bar. Ceiling fans are in each room. Free Wi-Fi is throughout. The remodeled kitchen has quartz counters, new cabinets, stainless steel appliances, a New LG top of the line stackable washer & dryer and a coffeemaker. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable.
 
This family-friendly condo has a view of the Gulf and is steps to the beach and lots of activities. In addition, the House of the Sun has a covered parking garage, security entrance, provides 1 parking space per unit rental, 2 elevators (great for anyone disabled), 2 sun decks, game room, heated pool, beachfront tennis court and Weber Grills/BBQ.
 

 

Policy

Cancellation Policy:
If the reservation is canceled 61 days or more prior to arrival, $300.00 will be returned to the renter, and $200.00 will be retained by the House of the Sun Management Office as an administrative charge. 
 
If the reservation is canceled 60 days or less prior to arrival, all monies received will be retained by the House of the Sun Management Office. All cancellations must be received in writing.

DEPOSIT POLICY:
A $500.00 deposit is required to confirm a reservation. This money will be applied toward the rent. 50% of the total rent amount is due 60 days prior to your arrival. The maximum prepayment will be 50% of one-month rent. At check-in, the balance of rent plus $500.00 security deposit is due.
 
SECURITY DEPOSIT:
A $500 Security Deposit is required on ALL rental properties. Each tenant is required to sign the Security Deposit Agreement and furnish a valid credit card number and imprint on arrival. No charges will be made to your account unless damages and/or expenses occur as a result of the tenant’s actions. Notification will be given to tenant if a credit card charge is activated. The agent may deduct from this deposit any actual damages caused by Tenant as permitted under the Tenant Security Deposit Act. The agent shall apply, account for, or refund Tenant’s security deposit within 45 days following the end of the tenancy.
 
Cancellation Policy:

About the owner: Jerry and I are northerners living in New Jersey. Jerry’s a civil engineer designing highways and bridges and I’m a retired marketing manager. We’ve vacationed on Siesta Key for 29 years before we purchased our “House of the Sun” condo in 2017. Ownership has been a dream come true for us!

In an effort to share this slice of paradise with others, we happily open our doors to renters so that you too can make vacation memories with your friends and family. Come visit, we know you’ll love it here!

Why this property? This property was in our family for 30 years before we took ownership of it. Everyone we bring here loves it so much and we have so many memories that we just had to buy it. When you rent it you can make memories here as well.

I stayed in a dream come true condo. It was right on the ocean with a view to know your socks off. Be able to leave the sliding doors open( because the lanai was screened in) was heavenly , being able to fall asleep to the sound of the waves

What a beautiful place this is! We were able to relax into the Siesta Key vibe and thoroughly enjoy it all. The beach is truly incredible and we made the very most of it, even walking back from the Siesta Key Village after a great meal. The owners of the Unit 402 have done a wonderful job decorating each room with warmth and beach fun. This place has a real feel of "just relax and enjoy." Thank you for sharing this with us. The House of the Sun is a gem.

Siesta Key perfection!

We recently stayed at House of the Sun Unit 402. It is in a great location, across the street from many convenient markets, shops and eateries. This particular unit is tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. New washer and dryer in unit was very convenient. As an “ older” lady who needs reading glasses I really appreciated the lighted magnifying make-up mirror, just one of the little comforts that made it feel like home. There is a partial gulf view from the lovely balcony. The condo had everything we needed. Don’t hesitate to book this lovey unit!

Great Place for the whole family

Our family arrived on December 19th thought it would be nice to leave the Canadian traditional Christmas and try something new, when we arrived in Siesta Key it was raining and it lasted for 3 days, tornado watches were televised for the area so needless to say the weather could of been better. Risk you take when travelling to Florida in December. Other than that the condo was really nice and spotless, the washer and dryer was a great feature and was used a lot on our stay. There is nothing you need as this condo is fully equipped, stocked with the necessities of home. I was impressed as every time I thought I wish they had this, they did. It was great. The toilet in the hall needs repair as it ran constantly , until you hit the flush again to reset, We let them know and they thanked us for telling them , again the staff very nice and professional. The area was close to everything so the location is great. The beach is great and the pool is small but nice. I would recommend House of the Sun and this condo in particular, the one down side is it's on the side and doesn't have views of the beach, but it states that in the booking section so I expected this.

This beautiful condo is well-appointed and well situated on the quiet end of the key. Everything you need is within walking distance or just a free trolley ride away; restaurants, shopping, groceries and icecream right across the street! The condo is clean, beautifully decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable. I can't wait to come back!!
