Welcome to St Itas elegant and comfortable Bed and Breakfast accommodation, located in the township of Rakaia – between Christchurch and Ashburton in the South Island. We offer our guests a peaceful stay in a refurbished historic convent school specially designed to cater for guests. Excellent first and last stop from the Christchurch airport. Excellent base for exploring the Ashburton District and further afield. Good advice offered on itineraries. Walk to the Rakaia cafés, local pubs, crafts,Salmon World Aquarium,  sports domain and the Rakaia River. Take a short drive to Heritage Drive,golf, Salmon fishing, jet boat riding, bush walks, hot air ballooning or to the Mt Hutt Ski field and more.
