Description

Please come in! The entryway to our cottage features gorgeous Javanese limestone floors with a greeting from a time thousands of years ago: If you look closely at the surface of the stone, you will see beautiful fossils inside.

The main floor of the cottage consists of living room, dining room, kitchen, and powder room. The space has been luxuriously interior designed while keeping in mind the main spirit of the cottage: relaxation and carefree existence.

The living room floors have soft 100% wool carpets. There is a plenty of seating available for comfortable lounging. Atop a Chinese antique cabinet you’ll find a 42” LCD TV (with cable/satellite) and DVD player accompanied with a surround sound system and stereo. The cottage also has a secure wireless internet connection and phone with free local calling.

The dining room houses an antique Chinese apothecary which used to house hundreds of herbs used in Chinese medicine. A cozy dining room table made of reclaimed teak and cottage style chairs invite you linger under the antique chandelier for a long while. French doors open out to the sunny deck which offers an extended living space with its upholstered seating and an outdoor dining area.

The kitchen has a feeling of organic Zen with its natural stone counters and glass mosaic back splash. You may refer to our selection of Northwest cook books to find the perfect brunch or dinner recipe!
