This four bedroom self contained holiday gite is the perfect location for a relaxing vacation, perfect for families and friends alike. The gite is large, cool in the summer, with all modern conveniences including wireless internet and satellite TV.

Set in two and a half acres on the edge of a small rural village, it is a private gite with its own enclosed garden. This leads to a private, enclosed, solar heated swimming pool with an attractive terrace with sun loungers, shade and an area for al fresco dining. There is also access to the wider grounds of the property, if you so require. Our property consists of woodland and meadow, and is bordered by the little river Tarnac at the bottom of the valley.

The property lies within easy reach of the beautiful unspoilt beaches of Royan and the Gironde Estuary, and the historic city of Bordeaux. It is approximately five minutes drive from Junction 37 on the main A10 Autoroute. A renovated 18th Century winery, it features stone walls and large oak beams and high ceilings that make for light and airy rooms. Its bedrooms and bathrooms are particularly spacious, making for a very comfortable and relaxing holiday.

On the ground floor-:

  • Large kitchen/diner complete with a cosy wood burning stove. The kitchen is fitted with all modern appliances including a full oven and hobs, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher
  • A games room with pool table, darts board and various games plus TV and DVD player. UK free to view satellite TV is provided, together with a library containing a wide variety of films

And upstairs there is a spacious hallway leading to:

  • Four large bedrooms, two with a double bed and two with two single beds. An extra bed is available upon request as the bedrooms are very large and capable of sleeping more.
  • The two large bathrooms can be used as en-suite or separate rooms, as required.
  • Bathroom towels and bed linen are included. We also have a cot and high chair available upon request.
