The Awe effect 1500sq ft Master bedroom has unbelievable lake view from all areas. You can have an afternoon tea or nap on the chaise while you enjoy the view from Kelowna to Summerland. In the evening, you have a choice of having steam shower, or soaking yourself into the double jacuzzi tub with mood light while having your favorite glass of wine or watching your regular TV shows. Plus oversized walk in closet; Private deck to enjoy the moonlight or sunbathing. There are two over sized bedrooms with queen size bed, sofa bed, desk, or sitting area. Beach Ave Castle built in 2008, located right on the lake in the jewel of Okanagan Peachland. Walking out of your front door, you can enjoy the 11km pebble beach with the boutique shopping, wonderful waterfront restaurants, cafes, bakery, spas; craft and farmer market, award-winning golf course, winery tours, horse back riding, water craft rentals, hiking, hunting just 5 to 20 minutes drive. The Castle comfortably sleeps 8. It provides comfortable beddings; Linens, towels, hairdryer, washer dryer, iron and iron board are all included. Everything was as advertised and did not disappoint. I was impressed by the supplies / cookware in the kitchen we were not short of anything and we cooked some elaborate dishes. The location cannot be beat being so close to West Kelowna and the wineries there. Walking distance to some trails if you are into hiking or just a walk along the beach. Looking forward to booking again.
Great Peachland vacation spot. A group of 7 of us stayed at the Castle over the weekend and the accommodation was fantastic. May was a wonderful host who was very welcoming and helpful when we had questions. She is a very warm person and takes excellent care of this unique property.
Every year a group of us plan our annual May long golf trip. Usually there will be 8-10 of us guys, and we'll head to the states. With the lower canadian dollar, we decided to do the okanagan this year, and rent a place on VRBO. We were def not disappointed! May is the name of the lady who owns this castle of a home, and we had no problem accommodating everyone of us. We did bring a couple air mattresses, which she was fine with. There is a great kitchen for cooking in, and multiple tvs to enjoy throughout the house. Also, there's this very complicated, but enjoyable shower in the master suite that you'll enjoy using (once you figure it out). The home has a huge three car garage to park your vehicles in, and nice cold ac to keep you comfortable when it gets hot. Make sure to bring your favourite book when you come, as the view over the lake is amazing and peaceful to just sit there and chill, and contemplate life! A couple things would be nice to have, but not too big of a deal. 1. More towels 2. Paper towels 3. More utensils for cooking (if you're going to cook) 4. More toilet paper (we were 8 guys, so maybe it was just us) 5. A baking or cookie sheet for potatoes/garlic bread etc Good thing is that you're close to all sorts of shopping for food and alcohol. On the subject of beer, if you're a beer drinker, make sure to bring your own growlers (to refill) and head down to penticton to the Canery Brewery. Absolutely amazing beer! Place was wonderful. Very posh and huge! Never short on supplies for cooking/cleaning. There were 12 of us total - 6 kids between 2 and 7. Probably not the most appropriate place for young kids due to how nice of a place it is, but they had a blast and May was very welcoming. Some of the appliances or features are a little complicated to use (e.g the steam shower or TV functions and trash compactor) but just ask owner and she will.help out. Definitely will consider returning next year. Area is beautiful and it was the perfect place for three families to meet and stay comfortably, go to local attractions and the beach, bbq, watch thunderstorms and arrange a wine tour.
This is a fabulous home in a fabulous location! The owner is so helpful and always available for anything you might need. We had no issues whatsoever and look forward to returning.
