Beautifully remodeled beach house with no steps to climb. Only one block from the beach and five short walking blocks from Main Street Ocean Drive, where you can enjoy all the popular shag clubs.
The shag dance and beach music originated in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach. This area of the grand strand is known as OD. Several of these dance clubs offer free dance lessons for visitors, take advantage of this fun offer.
You will also find The Pavilion, arcade, amusement park, restaurants, shops and all the clubs on Main Street.
Three bedrooms have two full size beds each, sleeping 12 and the 4th bedroom has twin bunk beds, sleeping 14 in beds. One of the sofas in living room has a sleeper sofa that can sleep two. The house sleeps a total of 16 people. Every room has a color TV with cable and WiFi throughout the house.
Bedrooms have dressers and provision for hanging clothes. Sheets and towels are provided. Pillows and blankets are provided.
Private pool in the back yard with privacy fence and plenty of tables and chairs. Adequate parking, all concrete drive, no sand to walk on.

We loved the Sand Dollar so much! Me and a group of my friends stayed here for our senior week and we were thrilled with the outcome. The house is layed out so nicely and there was plenty of room for the 12 of us. The pool was also a great feature and it was the perfect size. The location of the house was great too as it was only a block away from the beach and a short 5-10 minute walk from Main street. The owners were also very sweet and really cared about our wellbeing. This is the perfect house to stay in with a big group of people and you're guaranteed to have a great time at the Sand Dollar.
What a wonderful house and host! Owners are so accommodating. The pool was just perfect with 5 small children. They were either in the pool or in the ocean all week. Very roomy. 4 adults and 5 children. We had plenty of room. Walk to the beach was quick and easy.Take a beach wagon to make it easier. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!
By far the best place we have stayed while in Myrtle Beach. The house is very spacious, clean and in a perfect location to everything you wanted to do while on vacation. We had plenty of room with 10 people, we had room for more people easily. The house is beautifully decorated and color coordinated. The pictures really don't do this house justice, its remarkable. There is plenty of parking so there is room for your vehicle as well as rented golf carts (which is a bonus, most hotels don't allow golf carts). The beach is a block away, shops two blocks away, golf cart rental right down the street, a beautiful park for all ages, little amusement park down the street and so close to all the entertainment you could want. The pool area (this is where my family spent most of its time), this area is beautiful, clean, relaxing and spacious. The pictures make this pool look smaller then it really is, the pool was so refreshing and clean. My family and I was beyond happy with the house and plan to stay here again. I would recommend this vacation house to everyone, it has everything you need. Gunner the owner was extremely helpful and friendly, he is always one phone call away. Special Thanks to Gunner and family for allowing us to stay there.
I would highly recommend staying at the "Sand Dollar House" while vacationing in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The house is full fuctioning for a large family, a large group of friends, or even a romantic getaway. It is also equipped with all of the ammenitites to make you feel at home. The back yard even has in-ground pool surrounded by a privacy fence, which is an extra bonus! The house is just 2 short blocks away from the best part of the beach and a few blocks from local eateries, bars, and shopping. The owners, Gunner and Mary Ann, are a hoot! They have really out done theirselves with this property and are so pleasant to work with. I will definitely be back to the "Sand Dollar House" next year!
I would recommend the Sand Dollar to anyone looking to stay in Myrtle Beach. We had a group of 12 and the house was the perfect size for all of us. The house was well kept and beautiful. It was also a short walk from the beach, shops, and food. Gunner was very easy to work with and an awesome guy. I will definitely stay here again!
