Description

This 1 bedroom unit is located in Major Hill, North Caicos where it is a more of a retreat, an ideal vacation spot for those wanting to get away.
 
This comfortable spacious 1 bedroom apartment is adjacent to the 2 bedrooms apartments which was designed to give comfort to you our Guest while being away from home. You’ll enjoy the coziness that it has to offer which is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). We have a single mattress also if kid are traveling. we trust that you enjoy our home as much as we do.
We can accept 2 adults and 2 children (maximum 12 years old).
 
The space
Our fully furnished 1 bedroom home has queen bed with a single bed for kids, spacious relaxing living room and a fully equipped kitchen to meet your requirements.
 
While you are relaxing and requires private catering, housekeeping, boating, groceries or a rental car we can make arrangements for you.
 
Guest access
You will find WiFi internet, beach towels, hairdryer, beach chairs and chairs in apartment.
 
Interaction with guests
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need additional information. We want to ensure that our Guest have a relaxing vacation and memorable vacation. We provide a local cell phone and internet on arrival.

Mosquitoes and sandflies can be a nuisance most times please bring lots of mosquitoes repellent!!

Marilyn was super helpful in planning our trip before our arrival. She had a friend meet us at the ferry and let us follow him to our home. The place was clean and very nice. Modern decor and had a wonderful stay!!

Marilyn's home is really nice and super clean, you will find everything needed in the kitchen to cook your own meals, there is plenty of towels (even for the beach), the area is very quiet and you are almost between north and middle caicos so you can visit the eastern part within a day. Of course a rented car is needed, don't hesitate to rent it with Paul "Cheese" Beresford, he's a really nice and helpful guy. There are groceries and bars / restaurant all over you, don' miss The Aquatic with Sasha's yummy food ! Everyone on these islands is very nice and friendly, the beaches are stunning but not always very reachable on very rocky path but worth the effort. Thank you Marilyn, we had a really great stay !

This place is awesome! It’s on a very nice street and very quiet. I would suggest getting a rental car and bringing cash for meals and food as credit cards are rarely accepted on the island or often times there is a 5% fee charged to use it. We stoped at a grocery store on Provo before getting on the ferry because there isn’t much fresh meat and produce on the island. Make sure to plan meals for Sunday during your stay because everything closes very early. Mudjin Harbour is worth the adventure and is breath taking! Highly recommend. We had some great food at My Dee’s, Barracuda beach bar and Aquatic. We explored a few different beach areas on North and Middle Caicos and we were the only people for miles. Truly a peaceful and relaxing place.

Marilyn's place at Caicos Cactus is awesome! Really comfortable and clean, and much more spacious than the photos suggest. Communication with her and John was really great and it was a simple, stress-free arrival and check in. The house is in a great location in the middle of North Caicos, close (by car) to beaches and restaurants. You must rent a car here and explore North and Middle Caicos. So many great spots to discover (and escape to). The room has a full kitchen and living room area, very spacious and cozy. Lots of great eating options closely (My Dees, Miss B's, Princess takeout). You gotta try the fresh fried fish at Princess takeout (just down the road). Really delicious! Tell Josefina and Nat that Damian from California sent you! ;) Overall, a wonderful stay and experience at Caicos Cactus. You won't be disappointed! Enjoy the quiet and absolutely beautiful beaches and surroundings of North and Middle Caicos!

Marilyn's place is perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway. My friend and I stayed here for 4 days and enjoyed every minute of it. Marilyn was a great host and very quick to respond to messages before and during the trip. She had a rental car waiting for us when we arrived on the ferry. John, who greeted us and showed us the house, was also very professional and helpful. Everyone on the island who we came in contact with was very nice and you leave feeling like you are part of the family. I would definitely stay here again
