Jessie Marie is the owner/operator. As a child growing up in New Orleans, she dreamed of owning a mansion. As a graduate student, learning about all types and function of shelter, the dream of owning a B&B in New Orleans began to take shape. Thus, upon graduating with a Masters in City & Regional Planning, the family business was borned.
I have 40 years of experiences in the field of housing development: managing a 16,000 unit public housing authority for the City of New Orleans; experience in restoration of historic property, and residential space design. My oldest daughter has 20+ years of experience as an artist and is the housekeeper and interior curator. My youngest daughter is a CPA and supervises the the finance and book keeping. The family is excited about owning and operating the first African-American owned in Louisiana. The passion for excellence been the driving force in the business for the last 32 years.
