This channel leads into Petenwell Lake, the 2nd largest Inland lake in WI, with 23,000 acres for all your watersport and boating pleasures!
Enjoy the beautiful, serene view from the high-cathedral great room, the attached covered porch, or gathered around the campfire pit roasting marshmallows, viewing stars too numerous to count, and telling tales of your exciting adventures of the day.
Wisconsin River Retreat offers your family or group a gorgeous retreat in central WI … with a grand total of 5 bedrooms (all with queen-size beds) and 3.5 baths. The main level has the great room with its numerous high windows overlooking the water, and the open-concept dining room and kitchen with island counter and seating. From the dining room, walk out to the covered porch dining area. Also on this ground level is the lovely master bedroom with its own private bath (separate shower and jet tub). Another full bath, full laundry room and half-bath completes this main living area.
On the upper level is another large entertaining area with 2nd TV and futon. There are 2 bedrooms and another full bath. In the lower level are 2 more bedrooms— and a pool table to challenge your family or friends to a friendly game or two. A great home to make lasting vacation memories!
The riverfront boasts your own private 36’ pier with stairs leading down to the water. Launch your boats just on the other side (approx 10-minute drive), and keep your boats docked during your entire stay. Within 10 minutes to pontoon boat rental. Or use the two kayaks provided for your peaceful enjoyment of the river. Sand bars provide excellent swimming opportunities, as well as a public beach just down the road. Plenty of driveway for parking cars and boat trailers.
If golfing is your sport, just 10 minutes from 2 championship courses at Lake Arrowhead, or the new world-renowned Sand Valley Golf Course. Also check out the Wisconsin State Trap Shooting Home Grounds with Olympic designation hosting many competitions. Close to ATV/ snowmobile trails, the Nekoosa Ho-Chunk Casino, Wisconsin Rapids shopping, and within an hour’s drive to all the Wisconsin Dells attractions! Relaxation or exhilarating activities— the choice is yours!

| •Persons under 21 years of age must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian. RESERVATIONS: Reservations are CONFIRMED upon receipt of the signed rental agreement, guest data sheet, and reservation deposit. The guest named on the rental agreement is the party responsible for the reservation, adhering to our policies, and assuring the property is appropriately maintained during the stay. CANCELLATIONS: Deposits are refundable (less a 10% administration fee of the total base rental) due to cancellations with a minimum 60 day notice prior to arrival. A refund with less than 60 days notice is possible only when that home becomes booked and rented during that same rental period. PROCEDURE: Only when we have received the signed rental agreement and completed Guest Data Sheet is your confirmation complete. Upon receipt of your deposit, the rental agreement (showing amount due upon arrival), directions to the home, an area map, a list of amenities, and your personal lockbox combination is mailed to you. The lockbox allows you immediate key retrieval for the home. Upon your arrival, call us immediately at 888-404-2688 to arrange a time when we can meet you at the home (either early that evening or early the next morning), so we may acquaint you with the area, answer any questions you may have, and to complete the paperwork. |
