My place is close to the city center, parks, art and culture, great views, and restaurants and dining. You’ll love my place because of the location, the people, the outdoors space, the ambiance, and the neighborhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Legacy West (Sunrise #1) is situated in the Western district of the island of Nassau, New Providence in a high end suburban area. It’s about a mile and half from the new beautiful Bahamar Resort and Golf Club and a half mile from The Goodmans Bay Beach. The local bus service stops directly in front of the apartment. The fee is $1.25 per person. This bus takes you to The Arawak Cay Restaurants , Junkanoo Beach and downtown Nassau . The bus stops running at 7pm in the evening , therefore it is recommended that you take a taxi at night. |

If you have a group of seven persons and visiting The Bahamas, and want the comforts of home, without going to a hotel, Joyanne's place is where you should stay. Her place is fully air condition, all rooms are spacious, and there are facilities to wash and dry clothing during your stay. Transport is right outside your door - if you do not mind using Public Transport and waiting about 15 minutes for a bus. There are very good beaches within walking distance - but there is no pavement along the road to the beach. My family was able to cook simple meals during our stay and her kitchen had the necessary pots and pans for us to do so - there could be one or two jumbo pots to facilitate a large cook. There was more than enough wares to serve meals. The one missing item in the residence is a mop bucket which has the facility to wring the mop without putting your hands on the mop - if that is not possible some disposable gloves should be made available - some people will like to do a little cleaning, if staying more than a week or two. Joyanne visited us to ensure we were comfortable or needed anything. We arrived on Sunday and she offered to take us shopping to get food supplies and show my grandson where to find the basketball court to continue his sport even though we were almost two hours late. All in all Joyanne was a great host and you should not hesitate to use her facilities during your stay in The Bahamas.
Place was a great option for us as we stayed briefly in Nassau enroute to the Out Islands. Our family of 7 plus 2 were easily accommodated, & owner was excellent in staying in contact. Unit is clean & fairly well provisioned, having everything we needed. Location is not in an area where food or shopping is convenient, but just have to plan accordingly. We would definitely recommend & would return should we travel back through!
Joyanne's place s a very elegant facility. It is also in an excellent location which provides easy access to beaches, and additional tourist amenities. Joyanne is a great host. You can tell that she wants everyone who stays at her place to enjoy themselves. The place where we stayed, Legacy West, was a great location. Very close to the beautiful beach which was just down the street. We will definitely come back!
Joyanne's condo is perfect for a group. Her help in arranging transportation from the airport, answering email questions etc. was invaluable. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had some problem getting the wifi working but that could have been us. One suggestion is that if you don't have a car, you stock up on supplies like coffee etc. before you settle in as there isn't anything we could find in walking distance.
