Beautiful home with 2 bedrooms, bedroom one has a king bed and a set of bunk beds (sliding barn door separating bunk beds from king bed), bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a futon that can be used as a full bed. The living room also has a queen size sofa sleeper if needed. There's table settings for 14 in kitchen/dining area. The home has an attached 2 car garage as well as a nice deck on back with a heated above ground pool (open from Memorial Day to Labor Day). In the evenings you can relax by the fire pit with the sounds of a babbling brook from the water fountain right next to it. Even though the home is close to numerous attractions, it is also private and secluded. We spent three nights at Furnace Lake Overlook in early October. The home was nicely furnished and immaculately clean. We really enjoyed our time there.
This property has everything. I even slept well here........and that does not happen very often in my own home. This property is also conveniently located for anything you might want to do in town as well as for taking day trips to places like Marquette, Grand Marais and much more. I cannot wait to come back to Munising and stay at this beautiful property again. My wife and I belatedly celebrated our 30th anniversary here and we could have been happier with all that was available here. Thank you Danielle and Kevin for a very memorable long weekend. You both are wonderful hosts and very accommodating. Thank you.
Thank you to Danielle and Kevin for letting us stay in your wonderful home and for being there if we needed you. We had a fantastic time visiting with our family. Your home provided everything we needed. The pool was very enjoyable even with the cooler weather and rainy days, it didn't stop the kids from having fun. It was great to have a family night out roasting hot dogs and marshmallows in the fire pit. We really liked the large open area for the kitchen, dining room and living room, it is very spacious. My highlight was soaking in the whirlpool tub off the main bedroom. It was nice to have Foggy's restaurant and the casino right down the street. I don't know what more we could have asked for. The home is equipped with everything we needed and perfect for us. We hope to stay there again!!
The place is very nicely maintained. The home owner was very responsive and helpful whenever needed. This is located centrally to all the waterfalls in the area and very near to the Picture rock /Glass bottow cruises. We loved staying in this house and would highly recommend to anyone. We enjoyed the pool too.
Great family home! We toured the waterfalls, shipwrecks, pictured rocks and many other area attractions 6-8 hours a day. And the swimming pool kept our 4 grandchildren busy for the remainder of the day. While the four adults relaxed and enjoyed the privacy and natural beauty surrounding the home.
