Description

The Silver Lake Waterfront Chalet was built for entertaining!  With 2,400 square feet and a wide open floor plan, guests can enjoy the Lake View while cooking in the gourmet kitchen, relaxing in the great room in front of the fireplace or playing games in the loft.  This luxury home was custom built in 2007 and has 3 bedrooms (2 king beds and 1 queen) , 2 bathrooms and a loft with 4 twin beds.  The main floor of the home is handicap friendly with wide doors, low thresholds and grab bars in the bathrooms.  The cozy master bedroom has a gas fireplace, king size log bed, and a 2nd story lake view.  This home does not accept pets, and smoking is only allowed outside.

This 4 acre waterfront property is full of wildlife.  From Trillium blooming on the forest floor in the spring to deer nibbling on tree branches in the yard, there is never a shortage of scenery.  There is no shortage of local wildlife to observe, from the Osprey that dive underwater for Trout or the beavers that belly skate on the ice in the winter.

Don't forget to bring your swimsuit, because the home has a new 6+ person  hot tub and gazebo overlooking the lake.  The back yard also has a 35 x 12 ft patio, table and chairs, BBQ and a fire pit.

Bring your small boat or rent one from the parks department in the summer to go fishing or bird watching on the tranquil acre lake.  Visit the parks department  website at Silver Lake Park for more information, trail maps and boat rentals. Silver Lake Park also has a nice sandy beach, playground, ample open space and picnic tables. The boat launch is just across the lake from our dock.  Launch your boat and motor or row across the lake and tie up your boat to the dock during your stay.  There's ample room in the driveway to park your boat trailer.
