I purchased this property and the home next door while my son was attending Cal State Fullerton. The rental on the other house covered my mortgage on both properties eliminating the need for student housing. During the past 16-years, both my son and daughter have resided in both properties. I am only 10 to 15 minutes from the City of Hope. Patients come from all over the US for bone marrow transplants and other treatment options. It is required that they reside near the hospital for several months after they have been released from the hospital and find this to be the perfect place to recuperate. I have also hosted parents who live outside of Southern California visiting their children and grandchildren during the holidays. It is also the perfect spot for "Snow-Birds" who want to escape the harsh winters in the mid-west or on the East coast. I have also hosted couples and small families (2-children only) who are moving to California and need temporary housing prior to finding a permanent residence. I also consider short-term rentals for business travelers (one-month minimum stay) who prefer all the comforts of home at a price far below that of a hotel. Susan Ratliff
