We live in San Diego but decided to come down to the beach for Thanksgiving. This studio has everything you need including a drop down (our of the ceiling) TV. While quite small, we were very happy with the set up. The bed was quite comfortable as was the couch that opened up into a full bed. There were plenty of bedding and pillows galore! There are lots of toys for the kids including buggie boards. If you have never rented one of those cool little scooters, well here is your chance. I did and had a blast. The studio was stocked with TP, paper towels, dish and laundry soap and lots of additional goodies. There is only ONE table with 4 chairs to sit on located on the communal patio (as well as two chaise lounges) For the first 2 nights, a large family of 8 occupied the table so we weren't able to utilize it. After they left, we were able to sit and have coffee in the am's as well as barbeque at night. The table and patio area is shared with 7 other studios, but it seemed like the ones rented in the back pretty much stayed in the back. We had a constant ocean breeze which was nice at night. While there are only sliding glass doors (no windows), the owner provided a security bar to place in the sliding door when cracked to provide safety. We at no time felt unsafe. People in and about were busy having fun and getting to where they were going so the small openings in the doors were anything but worrisome. There is an airconditioning unit which is simple to work for those who don't want to leave the doors cracked or for HOT days. The breeze off the ocean is much more appealing plus listening to the ocean is worth it's weight in gold. While there is not a ton of storage space, there are drawers UNDER the bed. We also were able to slide our beach chairs and a few other items under there so found no big problem with storage. We also stored our suitcases and anything we didnt need in our car so as to not take up any room. This studio is perfect for two people. With the couch open at night, there isn't a whole lot of room to move around at nite but closing up the couch in the morings seemed to do the trick. We had three people and were able to figure it out. There are 4 barbeque pits which are easy to use. Will, the owner, is only a text away and is more than helpful and extremely generous. You can walk to a number of great restaurants. We found Luigi's and had the best pizza ever - went their twice! A great place!
It is a beautiful location at the broadwalk. The apartment has everything you need and the owner provides all help if needed.
This was a great experience. Will was awesome. Detailed instructions and everything was clean and kept nice. Would stay here again and would recommend this spot.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for one week and it was perfect for two people. Really clean, updated, and amazing location on the water. It also had a close walking distance to a lot of good restaurants and Belmont Park as well. Will was very nice and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend to stay here to anyone!
Close to Belmont park and the beach....we were a happy family!!!
