The Sea Winds is one of the very few Marco Island beachfront condos that allows short term rentals. For that reason it is very much in demand for family vacations (especially with school age children) as well as "snow birds" wanting to spend a month or longer in the winter. Every unit is directly on the beach with a totally unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico.
Sea Winds Condo, an End Unit on 14th Floor
The condo (#1401) on the 14th floor offers breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico (see photo).
As an "end unit" it is highly desirable because of its larger size (1200 vs 900 square feet), its full two bathrooms, and the views from the balcony and windows. Most Sea Winds units are smaller with 1.5 baths sharing a common shower. The master bathroom has a large walk in shower and the guest bathroom has a tub/shower.
The fully equipped kitchen has a crown molding center lighted ceiling and beautiful granite countertops.
It is so fully equipped that you will need to bring little more than your bathing suit and sun tan lotion.
There is a 42" flat screen HDTV and DVD player in the living room, as well as flat screen HDTVs in each bedroom, and free high speed WiFi access.
Beach towels and chairs, a beach umbrella, and all linens and utensils are provided.
Also for your convenience is a washer/dryer in the unit for your personal use. |

Parking fee ($30) paid by credit card to the condo association upon arrival.
Deposit due when reservation placed. Balance due 30 days before arrival.
Rentals generally Saturday 2 p.m. to Saturday 10 a.m.
Condo association regulations require 7 days minimum rental.
All rates subject to 11% Florida taxes.
Maximum occupancy is 6 people including children of ALL ages.
No pets and No Smoking.
Cleaning fee: $75

AvailableWhen we purchased our condo in 1987 our children were 10, 8, and 2 years old. Being teachers we spent several weeks there each summer and during school holiday. Now our children are grown and often vacation there with their children (and sometimes with Grandma and Grandpa!!).
