This is our primary home; new in February 2016. Each bedroom has a private bath. Lots of privacy for everyone in this 1 1/2 acre home-site with river to the East and woods to the West. Like to cook? Everything's included! Gorgeous chef's kitchen. It also overlooks open living space so you can participate in family conversations. Malabar is a nice, small and safe community. Close to Sebastian Inlet State Park rated #1 in Florida for best fishing, boating, swimming and surfing with national surfing competitions. Close to Satellite Beach and Indiatlantic Beach. This South Brevard home is situated near a convenience store, gas station, sandwich shop, bait/fishing store and restaurants. Only 7 miles from Sebastian Inlet State Park, 50 miles from Kennedy Space Center and 77 miles to the Disney theme parks. Also close to endless other Orlando attractions, such as Universal Studios, Sea World, Islands of Adventure, and Wet and Wild, just to mention a few. Come and Enjoy all that Florida has to offer. My place is close to restaurants and dining, the beach, river and family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space and the ambiance.

Home is on 1 1/2 acres and is very quiet, peaceful and secluded with woods to the West and the Intercoastal River to the East. Sits 37 feet above sea level.

Exit 173 Malabar Rd from Interstate 95. East to the river; left on Highway 1, 2nd uturn; 2nd driveway. Home has a flag pole out front and a red metal roof to help identify.
Public transportation is available a block away. A car is recommended.

We are an active older couple who enjoy our home, pool, boat and all the family and friends that love doing it with us. We attend Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church where Charlene is a cantor and Steve sings in the choir. We like to travel internationally and have made several trips overseas. Charlene R Baber purchased this House in 2016
Wonderful place to stay in the Melbourne area. The house is very nice with a great view of the river.
Our family had a wonderful vacation swimming in the pool, fishing on the river, playing on the beach, and cooking meals in the beautiful and well-appointed kitchen. Charlene and Steve are extremely welcoming and very responsive to any questions.
Charlene and Steve could not have been nicer. We went up to Malabar for my daughter's wedding at Banyan Estate's. We rented their home for 4 nights and there was 7 of us. The 3 bedrooms and full bath's was so great for us all. The pool was heated to a nice 85 degrees! Charlene helped me also with many contacts for my daughter's wedding. I would have loved to have her wedding there but we had over 120 people. There home and grounds are an awesome place for a wedding, or any other smaller event. We would love to come back and just enjoy the view!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Charlene & Steve's home during our visit with family in the area. Charlene provided a lovely tour of their home to help us get acclimated. We did a lot of running around during our trip (as we always do while visiting) therefore it's always nice to return at night to relax; our kids loved that they had color changing lights & a deep end to their pool as we don't have these features with ours at home; we all especially appreciated having separate bathrooms (boys vs girls vs parents), not so much because we have 4 teenagers but because it saved us time when preparing for our next adventure or simply getting ready for bed after a long, busy day. We loved the private atmosphere of their home, the water view, their amenities & location (we prefer to be halfway from my sister's home & the beach for quick & easy access to both of them). Everybody agreed that the beds were comfortable, too! There wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't available & things that we didn't need that were available (such as the snorkel masks, the kids just had to try them out in the pool). Our entire family loved staying in Charlene & Steve's home, nobody could think of a negative comment or even something as constructive criticism!! I highly recommend this home when staying in the area as it's close to the beaches, Orlando parks, etc (don't miss Andretti's, it's our favorite: get an all day pass, return home for lunch, go to the beach then return to Andretti's when it cools down at night). Not only is their home beautiful, but so are Charlene & Steve. Thanks for sharing your home to us!
We stayed for a month had a great time. The home was very clean and the pool was great. Steve and Charlene were great and always there if we needed something. Steve acted immediately when I brought something to his attention. Overall good experience.
