This charming, Non-Smoking chalet, we’ve named "Loon’s Landing," sits across the street from a public beach on a pond in the Village of Eidelweiss, a vacation community in Madison, New Hampshire at the entrance to the Mount Washington Valley. You can sit on the deck and call to people on the beach!
The upstairs features a living room with a woodstove, large dining area, kitchen, bath, and the master bedroom with a bunk bed which has a queen on bottom and a double on top. Downstairs are three bedrooms (two queen, one full, one sleeper sofa), and a reading area. The open post and beam architecture inside combines with a terrific mountain lake location outside to make this a delightful vacation setting!

We loved this little cabin! The main (second) floor has a great open layout and a beautiful view out onto the pond, and the bedrooms are all very comfortable. We had a cold winter weekend there and loved getting cozy using the wood stove. The location is very convenient, and Kevin, the owner, was very responsive and accommodating. We loved our stay!
This chalet was perfect for our family of 5. The house was well laid out with plenty of space. The kitchen table was enormous. The wood stove heated the place up real quick. The owner Kevin was easy to work with, he provided a detailed guide to the house and surrounding area. This house was an easy 20 minute drive to North Conway and 15 minute drive to King Pine Ski area. The 2 decks look like they would be very nice in the summer. We would definitely rent this house again.
We stayed in this house during Christmas and NY many times and always look forward to returning. Great location - close to everything. The house is warm, cozy and convenient. Picture perfect views to the lake and surrounding hills. It was a pleasure to communicate with owner too, he is responsive and cares about you. Highly recommended!
This was a perfect place. The owner thought of everything you would need at this chalet. Kitchen ,sleeping, boating and all the in-betweens. Close to so many attractions. I rate this a 10.
We've been staying at the chalet for a handful of years now and always look forward to returning. We love the view! Amazing spot to watch the perseids last summer! The short walk across to the beach or people watching from the porch can't be beat. A canoe and kayaks provide an adventure straight from the driveway if you don't want to make the drive to any of the many activities the mountains provide. Short drives to popular hiking or longer drives to Storyland are easily made from this not so far away out of the way chalet. Our budget much appreciates the full kitchen and the many seats at the kitchen and patio tables provide space to eat, play games, or craft on a rainy day if you come prepared to do so (or run to a nearby store for supplies). The owner is easy to communicate with, responsive, and full of information to share if you care to ask or listen.I'd recommend it to anyone looking to get away.
