Green Bananas is a charming Victorian beach front cottage that accommodates one or two couples or a family of up to five. It is located on the southeast side of Lubbers Quarters, a moderately inhabited island in Abaco, Bahamas.

Lubbers Quarters, a relatively undiscovered beauty is a private island tucked between Great Abaco, Elbow and Tilloo Cayes (pronounced "keys") It Abounds with historic lore from Blackbeard's buried treasure to tales of gnome-like "Yahoos" who comb the beach looking for green bananas. (Ask any island child.) There are several trails on Lubbers, as well as caves, wild orchids, hummingbirds, small beaches and interesting people.

Lubbers, in the Bay of Abaco, is surrounded by quaint islands, likened to a pastel version of Martha's Vineyard. Nearby you will find fishing and boat building villages, the famous Hope Town candystriped lighthouse, artist colonies and the world renowned Sandy Cay Seapark.
