Beautiful, private and perfect place to relax in the heart of one of the oldest neighborhoods in the beautiful North Valley of Albuquerque. Newly renovated and minutes from I-40 and I-25. Rural feel but in the city and close proximity to Old Town, Downtown, Balloon Fiesta Park. If you're up for exploring the natural beauty of the north valley acequias, walking and biking trails, it's a short jaunt that leads you to the Bosque and the Albuquerque Open Space or the Rio Grande Nature Center where you can enjoy flocks of geese grazing on their way south or are part of our permanent flocks. Just around the corner one can find restaurants to suit any palate, good old NM food (red or green, chile that is) and fine dining such as Antiquity in Old Town (our favorite!) Additionally there are other great cafes and breweries (Albuquerque is developing a reputation for fine craft brews) featuring live music on a regular basis. Albuquerque is a small town but has big city culture with our museums and art events - theater, music, performance art, something for anyone.

Home was clean and comfortable. Several extras really appreciate. Local cookies cold water on arrival. Was a little hard to find at 2am after extremely long day traveling. Responded to question/need very quickly. Would recommend
Brought the family for a week to experience the Balloon Fiesta. This was a great house for us and our 2 teen boys. Plenty of space and the cul-de-sac was perfect for throwing the football. The house had everything we needed. Valerie and Thomas greeted us upon arrival and were available if we needed them. Nothing but a positive experience for us!
Quiet & comfortable with everything we needed for our stay
Our second stay here confirmed our original satisfaction with this house. It is nicely furnished, very comfortable and had everything we needed from the moment we walked in. The large laundry room is a real plus. We enjoyed opening the screened doors and windows -- the private patio is delightful as is the entrance garden. Large lavender bushes greet you as you drive in.
My wife and I felt the accommodations here were much better than we expected. The house was furnished with everything we could possible need for our comfort. Very nice furnishings in the living room and dining area. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and also had very good modern appliances The bedrooms were furnished with very excellent quality beds and had ample dressers and bed side tables. The bathrooms and closet storage areas were also excellent. The location of the house was at the end of a cul-de-sac where we felt very secure and safe with our vehicle inside a spacious double size garage. Grocery stores and restaurants were very good and close. We found this rental location was excellent for the many things we wanted to see around the city and with the excellent street layout driving to various locations was relatively short and easy. Valerie and Thomas were very gracious hosts and kept in contact to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as pleasant as possible. In summary, when we return for another visit we will definitely try to stay in this rental home again. We just do not see how we could possibly improve on this experience for comfort and location.
