The interior of Casa de Loma was recently redecorated to reflect the architecture of historic Puerto Rico. Throughout our three bedroom home, a motif of archways was used in combination with Caribbean colors to create an inviting and relaxing feel in every room. A large, gracious porch provides a shady retreat all day and allows dining with a view. Two large tiled bathrooms are equipped with modern fixtures and showers. In the comfortable well-ventilated bedrooms, all beds are new and each room has its own ceiling fan. The house has ample parking, an emergency water supply, and a large yard with citrus, palm and flowering trees. If in season, feel free to pick your morning grapefruit. The comfortable living room with white archways surrounded by faux stucco finish reflects the architecture of old San Juan. Twin modern love seats, with colorful wicker side chairs can easily be arranged to comfortably seat six. A TV, a radio/CD/Tape player and ceiling fans are all provided for your enjoyment. We offer guests a video library of more than 125 movies. There is a full working kitchen and a laundry area. The kitchen includes a breakfast nook with a marble top table. Kitchen appliances include: electric cook-top range, double door refrigerator with ice maker, microwave, toaster oven, blender and coffee maker. Complete cookware and dinnerware for eight are included. A small picnic cooler is provided for day trips. |
