Unit 402 of Maison Residences is an oceanfront and pool front property located on Old Highway. The 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath vacation rental is the epitome of luxury with its unsurpassed views of the Atlantic Ocean and resort-style pool and jacuzzi area. Oversized windows in the grand room, master bedrooms, kitchen, and oversized living terraces allow guests to enjoy plenty of natural sunlight as they watch the ongoings on the ground below.

Residence 403 is ultra desirable in this community due to the privacy of being on the south end unit that cannot be seen by any on the other units. Guests enjoy a very private patio that does not not look on any other neighbors terraces. With an added bonus of being one of the few units just 5 steps away from direct access to pool and the Atlantic Ocean. No traveling through the garage and two stories of steps to get you second afternoon cocktail.

Maison Residences can be found off the old road near the Arts and Culture District of Islamorada. Travel is available by car, just a brief 90-minute drive from Miami, or you can touch down in the bay by seaplane. The property has been immaculately maintained inside and out, from the stylish décor to the 350-foot of white sand beach. Guests will love strolling down the 155-foot day dock, feeling the pristine salt air on their skin, and watching as the tide rolls in.

The flat oceanside property gives guests a secluded feel in pure paradise. Take a private elevator ride to the first floor where you’ll find a private entrance and vestibule. Step inside to the open floorplan where a gourmet kitchen awaits, equipped with subzero fridge, Wolf induction stove, and top of the line appliances. The kitchen opens to the grand room which is filled with cozy couches, flatscreen TV, and other comforts of home. Continue to the oversized living terrace with 9-foot stacked sliders that are perfect for entertaining. You’ll also discover multiple sitting areas, large flatscreen TV, beverage bar, fireplace, and a Lynx gas grill for guest use on the terrace. The location of this terrace features direct pool access.

You’ll need plenty of rest and relaxation when you’re not sightseeing or skydiving in the turquoise Islamorada waters. The master bedroom offers a cozy king-size bed, terrace access, stunning views of the ocean, and an attached master bathroom. The second bedroom is equipped with two full sized beds, large closet, and full bath. The third and final bedroom is an ‘in-law’ suite with a separate entrance, full bath, coffee bar, subzero min-fridge with ice maker and balcony.

POOL INFO: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say there’s is no evidence that the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 can spread through the water in pools, hot tubs, spas, or water play areas. Proper operation and maintenance (including disinfecting with chlorine and bromine) of these facilities should inactivate the coronavirus in the water.

That being said, to ensure the health and safety of all around, we must make a few changes. Currently, the Florida Governor suggests limiting groups to no more than 10 people. Also, the CDC encourages all to practice social distancing of 6 feet and respect other people’s space.

For the beach and lounge chairs, we suggest disinfecting before and after use. Maison Matecumbe is a residential condo complex and not a resort, so it is up to the guest to self sanitize and use their best judgement. Alternatively, guests can bring their own personal lounge chairs. Personal lounge chairs are not to be left out and must be brought back in when not in use.
