Pear Tree Cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Holme-next-the-Sea, within a 10 minute walk of the beautiful North Norfolk Heritage Coast. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty with miles of unspoilt beaches and wild salt marshes punctuated by creeks and small ancient harbours. Pear Tree
Cottage is in the heart of the village opposite the village pub. There are many walks from Holme along the boardwalks to Old Hunstanton one way and Thornham the other. Both these villages have local shops and restaurants, including ‘The Life Boat Inn’, making it the perfect venue for a relaxing holiday. The cottage has been converted from an original barn building and its attractive flint and brick exterior is complimented by a characterful inside. In summer the sun floods through the cottage and meals can be enjoyed outside, whilst in winter it is warm and cosy indoors. There are night storage or electric heaters in all the rooms and, in addition, a wood burning stove in the sitting room. All electricity is included in the rental price. The cottage comfortably sleeps four in two bedrooms and, as this is our family’s holiday home, it is well equipped and furnished. We have decorated the cottage with high-quality furniture and a relaxing palette of soft colours and luxury bedlinens. We have a strong seaside fisherman’s cottage theme throughout which adds to the very homely atmosphere.
