Prepare to fall in love with Slack Tide 6, a beautiful big rambling house on a quiet cul-de-sac in the Palmetto Dunes area of Hilton Head. Completely renovated, it offers soaring ceilings, masses of picture windows (including high banks of windows that catch the light without sacrificing your privacy!), multiple decks, and all the modern conveniences that make vacation living even more pleasant.

Step into the great room and you are greeted by polished hardwood floors, windows everywhere, vaulted ceilings, and sofas and chairs grouped in a conversational way. This is just one of two living rooms at Slack Tide 6, and it's made for those long talks, marathon charades games, and quiet reading times that only seem possible on vacation. When you're part of a large group, two living rooms really help; the second one is equipped with a large TV with DVD player, a sprawl-right-out sectional sofa, and a table and chairs sized just right for card and board games.

Adjacent to the first living room are the dining area and the kitchen. Flooded with light, they offer a cheerful place for the whole group to gather. The dining table seats 8, while the breakfast bar accommodates more in very comfortable high-backed chairs. Of course, you may find yourself carrying your meals out to the deck, in which case the table makes a great place for laptops and tablets (you have free WiFi at Slack Tide 6) or for group games of Uno and Cards Against Humanity. This big house offers multiple options for just about all the activities you want to indulge in when returning from the beach or the lagoon!

The kitchen is prepared to cater to the chef in your group. Boasting sparkling stainless-steel appliances including a 60" side-by-side and dual ovens, it is stocked with all the cookware, dishes, and utensils you might need. It's a pleasure to use, with granite countertops and plenty of light. The sliding-glass doors beside the breakfast bar make it simple to duck in and out for a drink or snack during the day. (There is also a half-bath conveniently located in the common area.) Slack Tide 6 is indoor-outdoor living at its very best!

You will find all the necessities here to make your vacation easier. The laundry room stands ready for your use. All linens and towels are provided. Everything is sparkling new and waiting just for you!

When it's time to retire for the night, the four bedrooms at Slack Tide 6 ensure that everyone will sleep deeply and well. The master suite takes pride of place, with its king-sized bed, huge bank of windows offering panoramic lagoon views, flat-screen TV, ceiling fan, and padded bench. You'll find plenty of storage here for your vacation togs and equipment, and the en-suite bathroom is huge, with dual vanities and a walk-in shower you'll adore.

The second bedroom is just as appealing, offering a king-sized bed facing a long bank of windows with breathtaking woods and water views. A wall-mounted TV in one corner keeps you entertained before you drift off to sleep, and a bath with a walk-in shower is convenient to this room. Second bedroom doesn't have to mean second best!

Two more bedrooms complete the sleeping arrangements at Slack Tide 6. One has a set of twin beds, beautiful windows, a flat-screen TV, and is just steps from a bathroom with a shower and tub option. The other is a children's paradise, sleeping five easily in a set of queen-sized bunk beds and a daybed! This cheerful room has a nautical theme, a small TV, and plenty of storage space. The kids in your group will be thrilled to take it over!

This house was great. We had 7 people staying here and it was quite spacious. We cooked here several times and the kitchen is well equipped. It is in a quiet location but not too far from the beach. I highly recommend it.

The house was amazing - very clean, comfortable, and well decorated. We had plenty of room for our whole group to stretch out and not be on top of each other the whole week.
